Hoteller nær Mains of Taymouth Golf Course

"Beautiful and very tranquil location. The apartment was big but a bit outdated. When we arrived we were informed the restaurant was closed (it’s apparently closed twice a week) and all shops in the town closed. Nothing would open until 9am the next day and the hotel does not offer breakfast. Very surprised that an expensive hotel like this does not offer a better service. The room was roomy and well furnished, the access to the extra communal room where we could sit and make tea and coffee and keep fresh milk and food in a fridge was excellent. "Cheap attic room. Unfortunately TV in neighbouring room boomed all night . We phoned the assistance number and the parson who answered said she would sort it out (she was off site). Nothing was done all night . We and other guests tried to get someone in room to respond by banging loudly at 4am. We assumed either dead or heavily intoxicated . We asked staff in morning and they said no one was in that room and cleaner must have left TV on. All pretty crap, no sleep and no apology . Sad that a...

"Dyrt! Fin udsigt - hvis ikke man har et værelse i stueplan og kigger ud på vejen. Tidligst morgenmad kl 8:30 - alt for sent. Og så skulle man på forhånd vælge hvad man ville have og kunne ikke umiddelbart få mere. Ingen andre steder at spise aftensmad i nærheden - man er nærmest tvangsindlagt på hotellets ret dyre restaurant "

"View was amazing the only highlight. The property was very dated. The table had remnants of food on it and the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It was 1 degree that night with no option to turn the heating on so we slept in our clothes as it was freezing!! The bath had a permanent dirty mark on it as im sure it had been there from day 1. Like I said the view was amazing and the recetionist was friendly but those were the only good point."
