"Immaculately clean, stunning interior, and perfect location were the first things I noticed about Docent’s Choice. Being half a Luddite the app for phone and figuring out how to turn the lights off and on involved me needing assistance. Not only did the staff help me, they didn’t even laugh at me or call me a “Boomer”. Great customer service! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Docent’s Choice. Everything was perfect! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. It is our second time. The location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere we needed. One block from the waterfront. Very walkable. Our unit came with a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a multi cooking option stove. Beautiful place settings, and every tool you could possibly need to prepare a full meal. We actually hosted a dinner party during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by providing extra place settings and making sure...

"The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!"

"Clean, beautiful room with a vintage feel. Great staff, very attentive. If you have a show to go to they offer a car service to take you there. It’s a 5 minute walk to the theater though so that was nice. Tandem bakery is right next door. You have to get coffee and pastries. Make sure to get a loaded biscuit. "

"The staff were amazing, the room was amazing (the bathroom, the shower, the bed, the blackout curtains, the fancy robe, and the interior design were all superb), and the restaurant was fantastic! Unfortunately, I'm really sensitive to sound, and because the building is older, I could definitely hear small sounds in the plumbing, refrigeration, and/or ventilation that made it hard to sleep well. Additionally, the remote was a bit sluggish with the TV, and the previous guests' Netflix access...

"Parking was very expensive, and the garage did not work properly. The property was clean, there were some things like a coffee maker and a small refrigerator in the room. Cleaning takes place every two days which was not ideal. Front desk staff all had different answers to questions asked. "

"The breakfast was great, lots of good options. The parking was frustrating, I definitely did not look at the fact that there was only valet and that it was 40$ a night. Never having been to portland I had not realized the extent of paying to park in the area."
