"The staff are super nice, but this hotel just isn't it. I checked in to a room, where the bathroom was not cleaned (at least it was visibly not, so not sure about the rest). There was paper on the bathroom floor under the sink cabinet, dirt on the towels within this sink cabinet, the sink cabinet in itself had seemingly unclean marks on it, no shower gel left in the shower, and there was hair (yes, someone elses) in the shower. I provided staff pictures as proof and they gave me a gift card for 2x supplimentary drinks in the hotel bar, along with some cookies. None of which I took the courtesy of using (yes, I know that this is not their problem). Also, if you are sensitive to noise, I would not recommend booking a room with a harbour view. I had a room on the 2nd floor with a window to the harbour and I could hear noise from activities on the pier, music, etc. even though staff claimed the windows were double sealed. The hotel does not offer ear plugs. Finally, the hotel has no outside space whatsoever, which just makes it cramped. Considering its location, it is a shame that it does not offer any type of outside space for enjoyment. For the same reason, I would recommend making a booking, if any, without breakfast (although their breakfast is nice), allowing yourself to enjoy it somewhere nice outside close to the old port. "
