"My husband and I really enjoyed our long weekend! The first night's sunset was spectacular and we really enjoyed relaxing by the river. The cabin was spacious and the beds comfortable. Our only issue was the condition of some of the cookware and kitchen items. Otherwise, we highly recommend this property."

"Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

"The property itself is PERFECT for a couples getaway or a solo vacation. I truly enjoyed the time to relax & reset. My only issue when booking with VRBO you don't realize some of the "normal" things you find in rental properties were not there until you get there. I've booked with rental properties and there has always been seasonings left in the kitchen (at least salt & pepper). The only other issues is the cleaning requirements....sweeping & mopping the floor definitely was a bit much since...

"Enjoyed the proximity to Charlottesville, the nearby vineyards, the quiet times at the cabin, watching the deer in the fields in front of the home. Steps to the entrance and to the loft may be challenging for those with limited mobility. Overall, a great place to stay!"

"This property was awesome, I highly recommend it. It was very clean and new. It had all the necessities you could want. It was very quiet which is what we were looking for. The hot tub was perfect, clean. We spent many hours in it. Thanks to the owners. You can tell they take great care and pride in their property."

"We loved the stay and new property, very impressed by the design. If we were to offer some feedback, the outdoor grill and chairs by the firepits were pretty dusty and had cobwebs all over them (I realized cobwebs can form overnight) Also, past sunset, whenever we tried to go in and out of the property, all sorts of moths/bugs would be attracted to the light inside and fly inside the door (we tried to open/close as quickly as possible). Not really sure what can be done about that because...

"We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. Accessing the property was easy peasy and the property manager was super quick to respond to any questions. Very relaxing, exactly what we needed! With that being said…the cleanliness was my biggest issue. The futon in the living room is red with black stains all over it, just filthy. We had...

"This was a beautiful place in a secluded nature spot by the river "run". We enjoyed the sounds of the song birds and water rushing by as we sat on the comfort of the covered deck watching the butterflies and birds. "Cabin has a lot of great character inside with the big great room and the spiral staircase. Plenty of living space. Kitchen very well stocked. The patios and outdoor area needs attention - better chairs, a good power washing, all of the spider webs cleared out, etc. Beds are good. Nice laundry room. Downstairs tv doesn’t work well due to connection issues. Bathrooms are small but doable. Parking and location are good."
