"As advertised - clean, comfortable, quiet. The spa tub is huge. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioner works well.The bathroom floor has a squeak in front of the shower, but overall, it is a really nice rental. The hosts were very responsive, even at night.Know that there is a flight of stairs you must navigate to access the rental, and parking is on the street."

"Had everthing we needed plus a whole lot not expected! The interior has so many cute furnishings with lots of hidden surprises that our 8 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed. Washer dryer combo in case you needed it. Liked that the kitchen and bathroom area could be closed off by a door as I am an early riser so did not disturb the rest of our crew. Host was right there if needed. The icemaker was nice since there is just a mini frig. Nice reading nook if others are watching TV or playing...

"Watch sunrise each day, follow critter tracks on the beach, breathe in the pine aroma and relax. Top tip: the electric heater has a remote—no one has to get out of bed to turn it on in the morning! Neat and tidy with the essentials. We loved it."

"The property was perfect for our young family - the screened in porch allowed for many card games, meals (and a few naps!) within view of Lake Superior. We spent most of our days on the private beach, combing for interesting rocks and daring to go in the water. Dave provided excellent instructions and the house was just as described. "

"We really enjoyed our stay on Madeline island! The house was great! We enjoyed time on the beach and were glad for the lift up the hill between the beach and the house. The owners were friendly and helpful. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The appliances all worked well. Things to note: bring your own spices/seasonings.
