"2 great swimming pools and incredible garden. Nice facilities, 2 parking lots and 2 restaurants nearby. All rooms air-conditioned. Friendly reception staff and nice breakfast. However cleaning was under all criticism. We got our room cleaned only once during one week stay. Why? If cleaning personnel spots you are in the room at 10-12, they come immediately, while we were not ready to leave “here and now”. "Fantastisk beliggenhed i bjergene. Her er roligt og afslappende. Covo do Milho er fint udgangspunkt for nogle fantastiske levadavandringer - og man møder ikke mange andre på turene. Feks levada Nova neden for stedet - og i den anden ende af den nærliggende lille bjergby Santo da Serra er der to andre der kan kombineres i en rundtur. Morgenmaden er rigtig dejlig og varieret."

"I didn't realise when booking but this hotel is in the most perfect location. Within a very short walk there are 2 fantastic cable cars, one takes you down into Funchal the other down the mountainside to a botanical garden. Around the corner you can get a toboggan 2km down the hill towards Funchal which was great fun! Again a 2 minute walk to a really stunning botanical garden and palace. For 6 euros you can get a return service bus up into the mountains for some incredible walks/views. The...
