"If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. "We very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was comfortable and the front lawn was great for playing games. We took advantage of the area's attractions such as local antique car show, biking, hiking and the Bonnechere caves. The lake is very clean and clear and was great for swimming. I would recommend the provision of a microwave and bath towels to make it even better. Overall was a great value."

"This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. "This was a great place to stay with our elderly parents. The home is very clean with every comfort required. The check in was very straight forward. The walk to the lake is breath taking and beautiful. The lake is clean and has a lovely sandy bottom. There is a canoe and sup boards, however we did not use them as the water was a bit rough. I would recommend this place for any family get away."

"Exceeded our expectations. We had no idea the place we rented was going to be so beautiful. The lake was just wonderful. Lots of things to do with the kayaks and canoes included in the rental. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were really confortable. Wifi was good."
