Loved exploring the bay area at low tide finding sea creatures. Contact Captain Matt's for getting good deals on fresh lobster. The cabin fit my family of 10 great. We hope to come back again."

"Cabin was clean, well appointed quiet location. Unable to use hot water, ? sulfur, smelled like rotten eggs did not clear after running for several minutes. Unable to use for showering, purchased bottled water for drinking and cooking."

"No code was ever sent to check in, the cabin was just unlocked. Not used or cleaned in a while. Spider webs everywhere. 2 half dollar size spiders in the tub. No wifi. No curtain on door right by sink to brush teeth etc. Zero privacy. Not even a checker board or newspaper to occupy kids. No fan in bathroom made it very steamy, and could barely change in the tiny shower/toilet area. Screw actually sticking out through wall in these rushed together cabins. Unless you want to get the bare bones,...

"Nice wood cabin, in a beautiful spot. There's was no wifi (it wasn't a surprise but it's rare and would be nice to add..) There was nothing to do with the TV because there was no cable to. Bed matress where confortable and it was nice to have 6 places for the kids. There was many spiderwebs and the cleaning could be better. "

"Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!"
