"We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage was cosy and done out beautifully. Warmed up quickly when we put the heating on, everything we needed was there, milk left in the fridge and essentials in the bathroom, clear instructions left too. But my most favourite, above all was the cats, we met Alfie first, very chilled boy and then Ollie who snuggled up with us on the sofa, Snowy the duck in the garden was gorgeous too. "We travel to North Devon every year and normally stay in Woolacombe. However, this year we went with another family and this collage was perfect for us all. We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. We particularly liked the snug and the large kitchen, which was well equipted, plus a washer and dryer (fabulous!). Outside you can wash out...

"We had a lovely few days staying in Barn Cottage. Nathan made us feel really welcome and provided us with all the info we needed. The cottage is gorgeous and has everything in it - from an arcade game machine to a popcorn maker. We loved it. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy."

"We had a lovely stay here, was perfect with the playground on the doorstep and the summer house. My daughter loved it! The pool was perfect too and was a good way to spend the afternoon. Next to our lodge is a field perfect for catching the last hour on golden sunrays. Our host was very friendly and helpful, we certainly hope to come again in the future!"

"My first impression was of surprise to the location. I don't remember reading any warning about anyone having mobility issues. The pathway and steps are very steep, and the surface and steps could be better. I did have a fall, thankfully I didn't hurt myself. Perhaps a hand rail. Inside the property you could say was well lived in. We wouldn't expect it to be clinically clean but it could so with a little spruce up. The Fridge wasn't the cleanest, with black bits floating in the water dispenser....

"Lucy was so helpful in answering questions and supporting us. It is a lovely spot unique and connected to the history of the area. Walks from our front door. Good pub across the river and comfy beds as we fell asleep to the sound of the river . We will be back!"
