"This place is a 5-star hotel. It's a true boutique hotel. It is very quiet, very private, but you have access to everything. The view from the hilltop outside of the property is simply amazing. The food is excellent, fresh, and made on spot 24/7. The wifi is fast, so you can do your business just fine. It is a gated property so it's very safe. "Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor."

"Vi elsker Serena hotel. Måske det smukkeste hotel i Uganda og helt sikkert i Kampala. Denne gang havde vi dog problemer ved indtjekning. Vi blev tjekket ind i et forkert værelse. Fejlen blev dog rettet forholdsvis hurtigt. Room service var også en skuffelse denne gang. Eggs Benedict var gennemkogt og hollandaise sovsen helt fraværende. Igen blev fejlen rettet.
