"Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable."

"The location and views are phenomenal, as is the energy. I like to reconnect with what is actually important in this world on vacations, and this is the ideal place for such remembering and reorienting. There is even an impressive library for nature and social justice to help out."

"A charming location with a fantastic view of the rising sun. We swam off the property (which was super rocky) and then made use of the hot tub to warm up. The kitchen is equipped with all imaginable high-quality ware, making it a pleasure to cook on the Viking range. Cocktails on the deck are memorable as the view is so lovely. Linens and such were fine. Communication with our host was friendly, fast, and smooth. My only disappointment is that the dock cannot be used, which was something I was...

"Everything was fantastic at this property. There is no A/C, so the upstairs gets hot. But this was clearly not in the listing. And there are also plenty of fans. The property managers yelled quickly to every question we had. Extremely helpful. Thank you... Well be back! "

"Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Wonderful secluded home! Very peaceful and quiet! Very clean - had everything we needed. Vacasa took care of both issues we had! Fantastic area of Maine - loved it!"
