"Our only complaint is that on Tuesday morning there was no place nearby to get breakfast. The hotel had good coffee, but nothing else. There is a restaurant close by but its not open on Tuesdays. We asked the front desk about breakfast and all he said was we'll probably find something open in Damariscotta, way back by Route 1. The hotel could have supplied bagels, donuts, etc. on Tuesdays knowing the restaurant nearby was closed. We did find a diner on our way to Damariscotta but it was...

"Dejligt, men slidt hotel. Morgenmad ok, god restaurant."

"Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps."

"Virkelig serviceminded personale, fra reception til bar. Vi blev inviteret med til koncert, som blev holdt på græsplænen. Poolen er opvarmet og ligger smukt ud til bugten. Hele hotellet er meget smukt og gennemført i sin stil. Utrolig lækker morgenmad. Og god restaurant til ok priser. Vi er på rundtur i USA og dette er måske det bedste hotel af mere end 10 forskellige hoteller. Vi kommer igen. "

"We enjoyed staying at this site but we had difficulty with the address. I would recommend putting the number 67 on the outside of the mud room door, which would make it much easier to find the location A member of our party had difficulty sleeping on the pull out couch and recommended a thicker mattress. We also smelled cigarettes upon entry into the building but once the door was open for a short time the smell went away. I would definitely stay at this site again when I the area."
