Beautiful Property, Terrible Service – Not Worth the Price
Unfortunately, our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Cabo was far from five-star. From the moment we arrived, service was slow, disorganized, and inconsistent. It took over 30 minutes to get help at the pool, and nearly an hour to place drink and food orders — and this happened more than once. Despite having a “butler,” we constantly had to ask for basic service.
Loud neighbors went unchecked for hours, and when it rained briefly, the pool and restaurant shut down with no effort to assist guests — no umbrellas, no carts, no communication. Worst of all, part of the ceiling collapsed in our bathroom while my daughter was inside. The response was slow, impersonal, and careless. No one followed up to check on her. When I brought it up at checkout, the manager just blamed the butler and apologized — no resolution, no gesture of accountability.
The property is beautiful and the food was good, but the service and management were a major letdown. Mauricio at the bar was the only standout. We won’t be returning and do not recommend wasting your money here.
