Dårlig oplevelse - ingen morgenmad
Da vi ankom til hotellet, fik vi af vide at der ikke var ledige værelser på hotellet, så vi blev flyttet til et andet hotel i 4 dage, og var nød til at flytte tilbage til dette hotel de resterende 3 dage! Det var mega irriterende med børn og meget baggage. Der var IKKE morgenmad som der var lovet. Der var Kun cornflakes og vetabix, som man kunne få indenfor én time, ellers blev bestik, tallerkner osv låst.

Fint overnatningsted med morgenmad. Morgenbuffet var ret begrænset, og det var det samme der var hver dag. Sengene var rigtig dårlige og hotelværelset var brugt godt og grundigt. Dog var det alt i alt ok. Man skal dog lige have med i sine overvejelser, at det tager knap 1 time ind til London centrum med bus eller tog.

Overraskende
Jeg nåede ikke at overnatte, da vi blev flyttet til Grand hotel. De betalte taxaen. Men det jeg så virkede godt-begge steder. Venligt personale og rent over det hele. Dog en ældre stil på begge hoteller, så det var ikke moderne. Jeg havde betalt for eget bad og toilet. Der blev gjort rent hver dag. Jeg var positivt overrasket over det hele. Dog kan det ikke anbefales at bo i byen, eller generelt øst London, pga befolkningen. Det er meget fattigt og ikke rart og gå efter det er mørkt. Jeg er kvinde og blondine, og var meget glad for at jeg ikke rejste uden min mand!

I’m not sure why I did not know that I would have a shared bathroom, but it was never cleaned and wish I knew this was the case. The place is very old and a little scary, but the staff there are super friendly and helpful. It’s like a hostel where people live there… full time? Maybe halfway house?

Was supposed to be en suit but no had to walk over a forecourt for a wee. ! Beds are awful felt every spring. No breakfast at all !! No coffee making facilities! Will never stay again and I better get the £50.00 deposit back. !

Finding this property was extremely challenging, the service was absolutely terrible. The street was very sketchy and felt very unsafe. The reception was awful and was not pleasant, they were hesitant about the prices and charged me an unreasonable amount, not what was promised. Once settled into our room, 3 men barged into our room saying they needed to “measure” things in the room. As a young girl I felt very unsafe and unwelcome, with 3 grown men barging into my room. They stood there laughing thinking it was hilarious, as my friend and I were both clearly uncomfortable. After that incident I immediately went down to reception and asked for a refund as I was not staying there. They refused any sort of refund and were extremely rude. I would never recommend this accommodation to anyone whatsoever.

Totally terrible front desk and customer service. Broken floor at washroom. Once I asked for something I might have left and if they have lost and found. I didn’t get any proper response. One of the staff said the cleaner will through anything left.

Firstly the shower was broke 2nd the heater in the room didn't work. The fire alarms went off after someone burned their oil while cooking. A couple arguing on the landing late evening. 2 big holes in the wall. Was not a nice room. I checked out after 2 days an paid for 6. Asked for a refund was told to send in a email which i have an the hotel as not replied an ive still not received.my £50.00 security money. I would advise anyone to avoid this place like the plague. Absolutely disgusting

The deposit was only blocked, hold as pending transaction, and once it got released , it will be added into your balance. Don’t go here
I was charged a £50 damage deposit upon check in, this was expected but the state of the room was not! Literally every piece of furniture in this room was already broken. I checked out after falling through a hole in the bathroom floorboards. It is over seven days ago and I have still not received my damage deposit. The ‘hotel’ was very unsafe, electric heaters balanced in the floor, room door hanging on hinges and lock had been broken, external door unable to close. Fire doors hanging off. Do not take your children here. Also live with rodents and very unclean.

Yes plenary free parking. BUT This lodge is Not for a paying guest. I travelled with family 2 little kids and got offered a room with NO bathroom asked to use a shared bathroom which was so dirty filthy disgusting, i refused to stay and asked for my money back. Then they gave me a room with bathroom. In the room the carpet was so filthy so dirty you cant walk bare feets. Beed sheets were a bit clean but had some hairs on it. Complementary Breakfast from 7.30 till 8.30 BUT from 7.30 till 8.15 there was NO MILK, NO SUGAR, NO BREAD and no one was in kitchen or at reception. after 8.15 receptionist came and then we found milk & bread in kitchen. KITCHEN CLEANNESS 1 OUT OF 10. BEDROOM CLEANNESS 2 OUT OF 10. BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. First thought about this place. It looked like homeless peoples staying at this lodge paid by council. I arrived very late so i had to stay. My mistake i never checked the reviews. THIS LODGE SHOULDN'T BE ON HOTELS.COM ITS A DISGRACE.

the room was filthy. we got locked out of our room 3 times the staff were no help just offered to give us a room for 2 when there were 4 of us. my friend cut there finger in the building due to sharp door. the bathroom was disgusting never again 0/10

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It is unfortunate that there has been an issue with the pre-authorisation and this is the matter that affected your stay. Due to hotel policy, a pre-authorisation is to be taken upon arrival but should release within a certain number of days. The policy is available on our hotel websites as well as on all booking agents’ websites. The taking of a 50 deposit is our and many Hotels procedure and I am sorry if this was inconvenient, however this is common practice across the world.We would like the opportunity to host you again in the future.
