Forventede mere til prisen
Personalet var imødekommende og venlige. Dog var værelset meget mindre end forventet og utroligt koldt. Den lille radiator der var sat frem, hjalp ikke specielt meget på temperaturen desværre. Der stod også på hjemmesiden at man fik morgenkåber og en gratis flaske vand - intet af dette var at finde på hotelværelset. Sengen var meget komfortabel og morgenmaden var også ok. Jeg synes dog at man kunne ha forventet mere til prisen.

Skønt hotel
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på hotellet med det venligste personale ved morgenmaden, i receptionen og på værelset. Personalet stod altid til rådighed og vi fik den hjælp vi havde brug for uanset om klokken var 04.00 om morgenen. Vi boede på 3. sal og der var nærmest ingen støj. Værelset var ikke det største, men der var, hvad vi havde brug for incl. en dejlig stor seng. Vi bor her gerne igen. Tusind tak til alt personale for et dejligt ophold

The staff was very helpful upon check in. We were early and they were accommodating. The elevators were slow, but that is like any other hotel. When in London, we would certainly stay here again.

This was my third - and certainly not last - stay at the Thistle London Hyde Park Kensington Gardens Hotel. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Its location is very close to the Queensway tube station and within approx. 15 minute walk away from Paddington train station. Entrance to beautiful Kensington Gardens park exactly opposite to the hotel.

The location for Hyde Park is excellent and it is good value with handy parking (that you pay for separately). But it took us ages to check in (nobody on the desk) and we were pretty slow checking out.

My family and I stayed here for a few days. The front door locks at 9 PM, and you have to use a doorbell to the front desk. No one was at the front desk at 9:30 PM when we arrived from the airport. We had to wait for another guest to let us in. Rooms were small. Fairly clean (though tired and wearing), except for the mice. We had two mice running on the floor and climbing the curtains. My toddler and pregnant wife weren’t too thrilled. The front desk didn’t seem to know what to do. I asked for a room change, they gave us the last remaining room which had no AC. It was hotter than normal which made it hard to sleep. We also paid for the breakfast, 15 pounds a person for mediocre food. We should’ve help off and only paid by the day if we wanted instead of paying it all up front like they want at check in. We ended up eating there only 2 days out of the 4.

Hotel ben collegato con 2 linee della metro che ti portano vicino ai punti di attrazione più importanti di Londra. Buona la colazione, personale parlante solo lingua inglese, pulizia delle stanze da migliorare per essere un 4 stelle. In ultimo l'hotel è ubicato sopra un distributore di benzina, peccato però che nelle foto rappresentative non si vede e se ti capita come a noi di avere una stanza al secondo piano non è proprio il massimo.

Once we arrived we were told they didn't have any rooms available. We then had to take a 45 minute taxi ride to their other hotel and stay in a part of the city we were trying to avoid. Staff was rude.

Well priced, next to the beautiful Kensington Gardens, within walking distance of Paddington station. Clean room, pleasant breakfast. Good value for money. I will certainly stay here again.

Was given a handicapped room although we didn’t need or ask for one. There was a recurring problem with flushing the toilet. The person who came to fix it said ,”This is a smaller toilet. That’s the problem “. The mattress was incredibly soft.
