Spar dine penge
Først det positive: Værelset var rimelig rent og servicen på hotellet var venlig. Og så det negative: Hotellet er ikke udstyret med aircondition, og vinduerne har en meget begrænset åbning, hvilket bevirker at værelset hurtig bliver fugtigt og meget varmt, op til 10-15 grader mere end udendørstemperaturen. Meget træls når der er 25 grader udenfor og man skal forsøge at sove. Værelset var meget lille, og sengen ligeså, jeg har aldrig oplevet så lille en hotelseng før, men der er ikke fysisk plads til en der er større. Alt er meget kompakt og man har ingen bevægelsesfrihed. Ventilatoren på badeværelset var så højlydt at selv med døren lukket derud til overdøvede den alt andet, det værste var dog at den tilsyneladende ikke havde nogen effekt. Resuatrenten lukker desuden kl 18 om søndagen. Til en pris på £150 pr nat er hotellet til grin, det er det slet ikke værd. Ved fremtidige besøg i området vil jeg overveje at bo på canary wharf som kun er 1 stop væk i metroen.

We stayed here when visiting the O2 for C2C. What a fabulous location, friendly staff, nice (compact) double room. Great breakfast, free parking. Even better it is literally a 5-10 minute walk from the O2 arena - more if you were drinking :-)

Stayed so I could attend a Lucinda Williams concert of the Indigo theatre at the O2. I am disabled due to multiple sclerosis but it was all good.

My daughter and I stayed here to go to a concert at the O2 Arena, it was about 5 min walk and lights all along. Check in easy and staff were lovely and helpful. Room was beautiful cosy and comfortable. Amenities of plenty. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order along with continental items too . Just a delightful stay. Thank you The Pilot 😃

Good location but no warning of fire alarm tests
Location is great for gigs at the O2. Bed is a small double so not great if you’re both tall but comfortable. Air con works, nice layout. Bathroom needs updating, shower a bit mouldy and broken toilet brush. Overall would’ve been perfectly fine except checkout was at 11am and they started a 45min fire alarm test at 10.15am with no warning. We’d been having breakfast downstairs minutes before and nothing was said. We had to hurry to pack our bags and get out as quickly as possible as it was absolutely deafening in a small room. We had an apology on check out but the lack of forethought to let people know it was going on was ridiculous.

Good Morning, I hope you are well.Firstly I would like to apologise for the issues you had during your stay with us, the issues with the room will be looked into . Unfortunately we had an engineer in that day who did not communicate with the staff that the alarm would be going on from 10:15.All fire alarm tests in the past were from 11AM so we expected the same, we have since spoken to the engineer to ensure it does not happen again. I completely understand your frustration with the situation and am very sorry.Kind regards,

Pilot is full of character. It's close to O2 and Thames ferry station. Staff were very helpful. The site is close to lots of construction at the moment.

Great accommodation
Very welcoming staff, comfortable clean room. Service at breakfast was very slow we waited 30 minutes for our food, possibly cooked to order. Food was excellent check in and out was straightforward

A lovely, homely oasis, in the middle of the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our stay was perfect. The garden was particularly appreciated on a hot summer day, somewhere we could enjoy a cool drink. We stayed here because it is walking distance from the O2, but will be returning for the warm welcome we received.

Perfect for O2 arena
Great location for a trip to the O2 arena with very clean and airy rooms. Also ate here before an event and the food was also excellent.

Perfect for O2
What a great find. Perfect 5 min walk to the O2. A pub with character and history rather than a soulless chain hotel wins hands down every time Great food , friendly team Bonus the sun was shining so we got to stand outside with a drink. Will be back!

Good but Let down by comfort
Perfect location for o2 and lovely friendly staff. Sadly ruined by the fact I got no sleep as the bed creaked every time we moved. Awful bed! Air con didn’t work and dirty hand marks all over walls. A shame these things made it such an uncomfortable night as it really is a great location with lovely breakfast too.

We booked for a show at the O2, watched thousands rush to the tube and car parks as we strolled 5 minutes to the Pilot, cool place Friendly staff, everything was faultless.

Nice hotel, very convenient for the 02 arena. Quirky rooms, however, very hot and air conditioning wasn’t working. Fire escape light illuminated the whole room and turned it green. Pricey for the room size.

Exactly as expected from the other reviews. Quirky, Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, peaceful nights sleep, easy/safe walk to the O2, staff very welcoming and friendly, parking in the courtyard right outside, rooms have everything you will need with the exception of a USB point so take your plug .. (I should mention I only had to ask and I was provided with one from the helpful bar staff) Ohh .. and I couldn't find a hairdryer but there might have been one🤔 Water/tea/coffee and a wee tasty chocolate all provided, had no idea how to work the coffee machine though, although I'm sure if I'd asked they would have shown me. Whilst others have made mention off the rooms being small, size isn't everything! This is a great wee place to stay for a night or few and I'll look forward to my next stay at The Pilot!
