Dejligt ophold på Grand Plaza
Der blev gjort grundigt rent på værelse hver dag - måske kunne man af miljømæssige hensyn fravælge nyt sengetøj og håndklæde hver dag. Men standarden var i top. Serviceminded personale, imødekommende og hjælpsomt - bl.a. skulle vi pga strejke have anden transport til Gatwick og det ordnede de for os - det fungerede upåklageligt. Behagelige omgivelser hele vejen igennem.

Vi havde bestilt 3 dobbeltværelser i god tid med 2 overnatninger. Vi fik værelser i kælderen uden varme og som lugtede af kælder. Skulle ned ad en stejl trappe - ingen elevator til kælderen. Forsøgte at få andre værelser. Vores første og sidste besøg på dette hotel. En dårlig hoteloplevelse - eneste positive var beliggenheden.

Very Good stay for 3 nights. Room was big and comfy and the bathroom was nice with a bathtub. Only problem was right outside the bathroom door, the carpet was stained and dirty and after we took our first shower the carpet got soaked in water. So it looks like it wasn’t the first time it happens. We told the front desk and they offered a new room, but we only had 1 night left and we liked being on the 4th floor, so we didn’t want to move. Overall a nice place with good location

Godt hotel nær Earls Court
Fint hotel med god belligenhed på rolig gade i gåafstand fra Earls Court Underground stationen. Godt værelse med stort badeværelse. Vedligeholdelsen kunne møske have været bedre, lidt løse fliser og døren til værelset gik i baglås Morgenmaden kunne have været bedre, men super god betjening. Obs. Ikke hotellets restaturant så der skal betales i restauranten

Great hotel - good location
Great hotel - conveniently situated a 5 minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Quiet street. Large room with coffee/tea making facilities. Great bathroom with bath tub. Would definately stay here again.

Det var nogle rigtig dejlige store værelser og med god beliggenhed. Og morgenmaden var ok - der var det der skulle være. Det eneste dårlige var, at der var meget koldt på værelserne selvom der var skruet helt op for varmen.

Jeg kan ikke anbefale morgenmaden. Kaffen var så dårlig at jeg foretrak at efterlade den og straks købe noget fra en finde mange caféer i området. Afløbet i brusebadet var tilstoppet 1. dag og oversvømmede gulvet og en stor del af gulvtæppet inde på værelset men det blev ordnet af hotellet inde for 1 dag.

Ideel, central beliggenhed. Stort lyst, stille værelse. "Opredningen", som jeg lå på var dårlig. (76 år) Dobbeltsengene gode!, men der var dobbelt dyne - det bryder jeg mig ikke om. Dejlig have.

Nice hotel, very pleasant staff, room was big and airy.plenty of toiletries and towels and a big wardrobe and a safe. The area is quite and felt very safe with restaurants in walking distance Sainsbury’s supermarket just on main road ( very convenient)

The room was big enough for three of us. The staff is courteous. The beds are comfortable. Room is clean. They cleaned every day. Free water and cookies every day. The restaurant food was good

I did not like that there was hot water instead of cold. I had to wait for many minutes before it becomes cold.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area 10 min slow walk from the subway station Earl's Court (which is a direct line to Piccadilly square and Heathrow). The lobby is nice, receptionist on our check in was very helpful, he escorted us to our room and explained all that is needed. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a tea set and buiscuits- replenished every day. What needs to be better - the carpet in our room was so stained that it is allmost not acceptable for such an establishment (claiming 4☆). I sincerely hope they are planning a carpet washing soon. The bathroom had a strange water regulation - there was no cold water coming out of the faucet. The shower draining water too slow so the water overflows the whole bathroom. Also the bathroom door was weighted to always close. I found this to be very unpractical. We went in the morning to the hotel restaurant, just for a coffee- unfortunately the restaurant staff does not know how to serve coffee - is served without sugar or teaspoons (even though we said w.just want cofee and occupied a table that was not set for breakfast).The chairs in the restaurant were covered in stains and the floor was sticky (on 2 different days). There are many breakfast possibilities on Earls Court, so i wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant for breakfast (dinner didnt seem as an option since it left poor impression for breakfast). So this bothered me somewhat because it definitely didn't represent a 4 star hotel.

The hotel has been nicely updated, considering it’s an old building. The room was comfortable considering London sizes. Cedric at the front desk was specially friendly and helpful. We went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. It’s less than 10 min walk to the underground station with service to two main lines, which is great to get to the main points of interest in the city.

For a four star hotel, the staff was at best 3 star. The room itself was 4 star quality though they did have AC issues which you can't fault anyone for a fluke. The lock system was changed on our room. Again understandable, maintenance and upgrades happen, however, the hotel staff should have been prepared to give customers their new keys. It took me 1/2 got to get my key and I was the only one in line. The good to my point about the staff being sub-par.

The facilities and the hotel itself looked very old, the sink and bathtub were all rusty, the same goes for the furniture too. The only plus point was the staff. Will I return? Highly unlikely as the hotel is accessible by anyone without a key card, so security is a concern for me.

After a few snafus during check in, everything else was excellent. Cedric was going above and beyond to help situate the issues and make them right. Everyone at reception desk provided the best service and answered any questions relating to food recommendations, directions etc. The hotel is very close to both the Earl's Court and Gloucester tube stations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. I can also mention as a woman traveling solo, i felt the area was safe. Even at night when i would walk to local gorcery store Sainsburys. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again
