The bed in the room was only 140 cm and in the room description it stated that the room was compact, which i understand a small room but it should also have been more clear about the size of the bed.

Bestilt dette hotel, men fik et andet
Vi ankom til hotellet hen på aften fredag, og fik den besked at det var den forkerte adresse, dog hed det hotel vi så blev henvist til noget helt andet end Park Grand, og vi fik et lille værelse i kælderen. I både appen og i den mail der blev modtaget ved bestilling, var adressen på det resverede værelse ved Park Grand Paddington Court. Mærkeligt at der ikke gives besked ved ændringer eller andet.

Good Experience
For the price, the hotel was up to my expectations. However, I think the furniture in the room was worn and old. The door to the fridge hung so it couldn't close and the furniture was well used. The staff were service-minded, but due to my experience in the hotel industry, I still think that the front desk was not quite as good as expected at registering the guests. It also doesn't look nice that you can see the staff sitting with their phone, instead of being present. But it was a good experience, the hotel was very well located in the city and to Hyde Park.

Vinduet var utæt, det lå lige op af sengen så der var træk hele natten og vi sagde det til receptionen som sagde de ville ordne det men der skete aldrig noget. En meget lille seng til to personer, man kunne næsten ikke vende sig om natten.

Vi havde booket et compactroom med dobbeltseng, men ankom til et værelse med en 120cm bred seng, som aften-receptionisten oplyste var normalt for den type værelse. Næstkommende moegen fik vi god og venlig hjælp hos hotels.com, som vsr enige i at 120cm var for småt at kalde for en dobbeltseng, og fik os opgraderet til et lidt større værelse (club room), denne gang med en seng på 140cm bredde, som vi godt kunne klemme os sammen i. Det nye værelse lå ikke i selve hotellet, men i en bygning lige overfor, og vi havde derefter ikke yderligere kontakt med hotel personale før udtjekning.

Udemærket hotel. Vi spiste dog alle måltider ude, så jeg aner ikke hvordan maden er. Servicen er elendig. Depositummet har jeg ikke set skyggen af og der er ikke rigtigt nogle hjælp at hente. Servicen i lobbyen var ok. Værelserne var fine, rengøring god. Beliggenhed fantastisk.

Super tilfreds.
Mit rum var klar allerede kl 10, hurtig indtjekning og venligt personale. Ligger dejligt centralt og kun 5min fra Paddington st. som kan bringe dig overalt. Jeg var alene så havde hele 6m2, en seng, bord og TV. Stort toilet med bad i forhold til resten.

En blandet oplevelse, der endte godt.
Det første værelse vi fik (216) havde det mest utætte vindue jeg længe har set. Hele rammen rundt om havde direkte hul ud til. Dette opdager vi først om aftenen, da vi har været ude hele dagen. Det trækker altså ind med kold luft udefra, direkte ind i den ene seng. Derudover opdager vi en glemt/tabt genstand på gulvet samt at der ikke var blevet støvsuget på værelset. Dette påtaler vi i receptionen, men grundet det sene tidspunkt, kan der ikke gøres noget da der ikke er flere ledige værelser. Vi må derfor selv tætne vinduet med toilet papir. En ansat kommer op, og tjekker varmen, men vi fortæller flere gange at det ikke er varmen der er i stykker, men et vindue der er meget utæt. Det er dog som om at vedkommende ikke ser dette som et problem. Vi bliver dog lovet et andet værelse dagen efter, og det får vi. Vi blev rykket til et større værelse, med en bedre indretning, og som svarede til vores forventninger. Personalet løste problemet, men man bør under ingen omstændigheder tilbyde sådan et værelse til sine gæster. Gætter på at ingen vil betale for det. Og man ender med halv lunken anmeldelse. Havde ønsket at vi som kompensation var blevet tilbudt morgenmad. Men jeg er glad for at vi trods alt fik et andet værelse som lovet. Hvis det er standarden med det første værelse vi fik, til den pris vi gav, så kommer vi ikke igen.

Dårlig oplevelse.
Hotellet er totalt nedslidt, rengøring er virkelig dårlig, vi fik byttet 2 ud af 4 værelser pga. dårlig rengøring. sengelinned var beskidt, og med make-up på. vi gjore hotellet opmærksom på vores utilfredshed - og havde en klar forventning om at de ville gøre en ekstra indsats mit. rengøring. Men intet var gjort. - det er helt ubegribeligt at dette hotel kan have 4 *
beskidt sengelinned.

Godt skuffet over dette hotel - udefra et super flot hotel, område helt fantastisk og det samme var personale. Men værelser var jeg overhoved ikke tilfreds med. Havde booket et single rum, med ønske om et værelse med badekar - da ikke single værelser med badekar, var de så søde at give mig et dobbeltværelse uden ekstra beregning, virkelig sødt. Kom dog så op på værelse, ingen badekar - vægge var papir tynde, så kunne nærmest høre alt .....var ikke i tvivl da Frankring fik mål i VM kamp fra overbo. Sov nærmest ikke den nat, da den ene nabo kunne høres hoste det meste af natten og til den anden side, et par der havde en aktiv nat. Fik heldigvis et andet værelse, men det gjorde det ikke meget bedre - med en generator udenfor vindue, vindue som ikke var tæt, så vinden/kulden udefra kunne mærkes i værelse og grav træk. Men der gav op, og blev i det værelse, da det var min sidste overnatning på hotel - 2 nætter i alt .... Så vil sige jeg var godt skuffet over hotel stand, nærmest alt på de to værelser jeg boede i - og ikke et specielt billigt hotel. Men må sige meget venligt personale. Ikke et hotel jeg vil komme tilbage til, men helt sikkert området.

Central and cozy hotel for a decent price
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for four nights when we were in London. We chose the Deluxe Double Room. The room was quite small but that is expected from a hotel in a city like London. Nicely furnished with warm and cozy colors. The bed was okay, not that soft but we slept just fine. We had a nice big TV, which we didn't really use. Lovely and clean bathroom. Only downside here was that when we booked the room, it was listed as having a bathtub, but we got a shower. Staff was nice and friendly. We arrived a few hours before Check-In and they offered to keep our luggage in storage for us until we could check in, which was great and allowed us to explore the area without dragging our heavy bags with us. Check Out was easy and quick. Our room had electric sockets that were fit for our Scandinavian electronics so we didn’t even need an adapter. We also had a small fridge, an iron, a safe and a blow dryer. The entryway/reception is very nice and grand looking, and there was a small bar area (which we didn’t have time to try) and a large lift for easy access to our 4th floor room. The hotel is close to Paddington Station with access to both busses, trains and the subway. There’s also a good number of cozy pubs, diners and cafés close by. All in all, we were very happy with our stay!

The room was extremely small although it looked very different in the photos and description. I asked to be in a room where I did not have to use stairs. They said I had to wait, which I did, to get a room by the elevator, but I had to use stairs twice to get to our room

Hotel is really convenient for Lancaster Gate tube on the central line as well as Paddington. It is a very tired hotel and definitely in need of some TLC but for a short stay in London it does the job.

The first time I stayed here it was all very good.I got the room that I had booked with a king bed overlooking the garden. Ever since there has always been a problem with the last 4 bookings. This visit we arrived at around 6 pm. The room they gave us had not been cleaned. It did not have a queen bed as booked and was very small up in the attic. Reception seemed unconcerned that the room was dirty but offered me a room on the lower ground floor. I always e mail in advance to ask to not but me in the basement. The rooms are dark and depressing. This was the only room they had so we had to take it. Although offered a full refund looking for a room at 6 pm was after travelling all day was not an option. The hotel really needs to pay attention to returning guests and improve their methods of allocating rooms to actually give people what they have booked!!
