For det første var værelsets standard ikke, hvad jeg forventede af et hotel, der præsenterer sig selv som 5-stjernet. Med slidt indretning, en ubehagelig seng og et badeværelse, der trængte til en kærlig hånd, mindede det mere om, hvad jeg ville forvente af et 3-stjernet etablissement. Desuden var renligheden ikke i top, hvilket straks satte en dæmper på min ankomst. Serviceoplevelsen fortsatte med at underbygge min skuffelse. Selvom personalet var venligt, manglede der en opmærksomhed, som jeg forbinder med 5-stjernede hoteller. Faciliteterne, som blev rost højt på hotellets hjemmeside, levede heller ikke op til forventningerne. Faktisk var der Mere fokus på det handicapvenlige - hvilket er okay, men så bør det beskrives.

Smaller room than expected. A little bit disappointing overall considering it is listed as five star. No hotel bar open at 10pm on a Sunday night which was surprising. Staff suggested to go to Tesco next door instead. A shame considering the lobby bar seemed a nice place to spend time but was not open. Great location but that might be as good as it gets. Would have to think hard about choosing to stay here again.

The concierge Aman was excellent and all staff members went above and beyond. I would stay again!

Incredible location close to transportation and St Paul’s. I desperately want to give this property 5 stars as the staff was professional and very accommodating but the automatic heating system does not allow you to regulate the temperature which reached 25 degrees C during nighttime hours making it difficult to sleep. The night manager was so apologetic and arranged a temporary fix through engineering. But the system reset the following night! Definitely will try this property again in hopes the heating issue can be fixed!

Not a five star standard
We had a 4 nights stay from 28th Dec to 1th Jan 2024. The room was specious and nice, bad badly sound isolated. We had to ask a few times to clean the room, since it was still not cleaned at 4 pm. We were also missing the equipment for 3 ppl, such towels, bathrobe, glas and similar. We got some on request, but not all. When we checked inn we were told that our total bill will be 3000 pounds, which was about 700 pounds more then the correct price. The lady at the front desk asked some colleauge for help, and we got the correct price at the end. The breakfast was pretty poore for 5 stars hotel. It was always a queue for the breakfast, and the stuff were stressed because the breakfast restaurant was a way too small for all the guest. All the stuff were very helpfull and polite, but anyway, this is not worth the money, and it is not a five star standard as it says on Hotels.com.
