A luxury two bedroom, two bathroom apartment situated in a newly-built apartment block close to London’s business district of Canary Wharf.

It is on the 12th floor of George Street, an iconic building located on the river at neighbouring Wood Wharf. The building is home to a thriving residential community who enjoy amenities including communal roof terrace, bar and lounge.

It has excellent transport links to the City and West End via the Docklands Light Railway and is close to the world famous Westfield shopping centre at Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

This apartment is elegant and modern providing the perfect base for up to four guests.

You enter through a double-height grand reception area. The building has a lift as well as a secure video entry system. There is also free wi-fi for guests, air conditioning and a digital thermostat panel for heating.

The apartment has a contemporary feel with its neutral decor, wooden flooring, artwork and is finished to a high specification throughout. Its full height windows offer an abundance of light and guests can enjoy stunning views of the river and London’s skyline from its balcony.

The open-plan living area, with access to the balcony, features a coffee table, sumptuous sofa and flat-screen Samsung Smart television. It is flooded with natural light and incorporates a dining area with table for leisurely meals. The American-style kitchen offers top of the range Siemens appliances, such as induction hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a combined washer-dryer for the convenience of guests.

Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging space, lovely console table and mirror and an ensuite bathroom with bathtub, rainfall shower with hand-held attachment and plenty of storage.

Bedroom 2 also has a king-size bed, use of a family bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower and hand-held attachment, plenty of storage and direct access to the balcony.

The Location
The apartment block is located in Wood Wharf, a vibrant new area within the international business district of Canary Wharf in East London’s Docklands. It is a restful waterside setting surrounded by welcoming green space. Canary Wharf is one of London’s most affluent residential and commercial districts close to the City and about half an hour from the West End. There are scores of exclusive bars and restaurants such as Hawksmoor, a steak house based in a floating pavilion. Dishoom and Emilia’s Crafted Pasta restaurant are a few minutes walk away. For self-catering, there are plenty of local supermarkets and delicatessens. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the 2012 Olympics, now a leading destination for sport, entertainment, culture, education and leisure is nearby. For nightlife the bars of Shoreditch and Hackney are a short cab ride away.

The area enjoys an excellent transport system via the Docklands Light Railway which links to London’s underground network.

**Please note there is currently construction in the area. This is audible from the home as the construction is on the east side of the building, 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, from 8am-1pm on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays, Bank or Public holidays. Certain Exceptions Apply.**

Modern, clean, well appointed. Great view of the water from terrace. Neighborhood has everything. Mgt very responsive. Would happily stay again.

Overall the apartment was open and amazing for our family of three. The only negative was the carpet in the living area could use a good vacuum.
