The parking area for the neighbors is visible from Hygge. The land to the south of Hygge is adjacent to Caywood Point, part of the Finger Lakes National Forest. Hiking in that direction is suggested. The land to the north of Hygge is privately owned. Sounds carry on the lake, please be mindful. Hygge accommodates parking for 3 vehicles. Like much of the lake front homes in our area, the terrain is rugged. The road to Hygge is steep and has several sharp turns, we recommend AWD or 4WD. Please drive slowly and with caution. Boat trailers, campers and vehicles larger than a standard SUV or Pick Up will not fit down the road.
Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.

1. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
