"We had such a lovely week here. It was cold outside around 5 degrees but the cottage was lovely and warm. We wrapped up and went somewhere every day, just a short drive away. Poppit beach, with a cafe which sold amazing doughnuts. Aberporth and Mwnt beaches all lovely and dog friendly this time of year.We visited Cenarth Falls which was lovely and walked from Llechryd to Cilgerran along the river. We had fish and chips from the local chip shop which were great. Coming back to Woodpecker Rest...

"What a perfect stay in an interesting cottage it was cosy very well equipped and very clean very dog friendly bowls blankets and towels also dog treats provided.. and what a lovely welcome basket welsh fruit cake pancakes waffles and even a bottle of prosecco from the owners dawn and Mike who are friendly and very helpful we had plenty of logs for the initial fire a nice forest walk for the dogs just up from the cottage a lovely little village we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived...

"Maes yr Onnen has got to be the best holiday cottage we have stayed. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and immaculate throughout. The beautiful beds were extremely comfortable. The huge garden with its comfortable seating area was a big bonus as was the hot tub. The games room was also a big hit. The generous welcome gifts were much appreciated.
