All the comforts of home and nearby the dramatic coast of Cascais and Lisbon
Sunny, welcoming house, comfortable with spacious garden and gated pool. In quiet residential area , car not necessary 10, 15 minutes walk to the center of Cascais, 15 minutes walk to the sea front and beaches.

.Local bus stop seconds away at the end of the street , one stop in to the center of Cascais , buses run regularly.

Small local restaurant 3 minutes walk from the home , local supermarket with bakery 6 minutes walk from home , pharmacy and local cafes all 5 minutes walk away .

Dear guests.. ....please note that i live in the basement flat of the property , you have your own entrance i have my own entrance , it is very private all my reviews are with me staying in the basement flat .

My windows do not look out on to your space , the garden is super , very private with tall hedges .

I like to be invisible , unless you need help i am not far .



Beaches, mountains, culture, shopping, water sports, golf, riding and more. Only 10,15 minutes walk to the beach and atmospheric town of CASCAIS with its lively center, beautiful historical houses, museums, art galleries,marina, shops, cafes and restaurants, a great market on Wednesdays. Marvellous promenade by the sea to ESTORIL. Casa da Guia nearby is a 19th century manor house overlooking the ocean with restaurants, cafés and some interesting shops. Sintra is a dramatically beautiful mountain village with ancient castles and palaces to explore. Only 10 mn drive to the protected coast line and beaches of Guincho, Adraga, Azenhas do Mar and the lighthouse at Cabo da Roca, most westerly point of Europe. ONE OF THE MOST DRAMATIC TRAIN RIDES IN EUROPE follows the coast into the heart of Lisbon in just 30 mins.

SUGGESTIONS: Casa Catarina includes all modern conveniences for self-catering , linen and towels provided, the house is cool in summer, warm in winter. Plenty of light. Garden features luxury pebble pool (9 metres diametre) with deck and lawn. Further deck up stairs (fenced) with awning, sun chairs, barbecue & large tables to feast in sunshine or for dinner (electric lights also)! Cascais is walking distance (10-15 mins on foot), Estoril 5 minutes by car. Coastal train ride to Lisbon is 35 minutes (shopping & culture), Sintra mountains (hikes and castles) 20 minutes, Guincho beach (

Surfers Paradise), 15 minutes. Good night life can be found locally or in Lisbon.

GOLF: Golf Details: There are 5 golf courses locally, all within 2-5 miles.

1. Estoril Golf -designer-Mckenzie Ross- 2 courses- 18 hole, 69 Par, 5238m, Championship course.

2. Golf Estoril-Sol - designers are John Harris / Ron Fream - 9 hole, Par 31, 1749M Beautiful.

3. Penha Longa is a two course location - main course 18 hole is par 72 and 6228 metres in length. Designer R.Trent Jones II. Championship course - spectacular.

4. Quinta Da Marinha is par 71 - 6014 m - Championship course - Atlantic views.Designer R.T. Jones.

5. Quinta Da Beloura - designer- William Roquemore, 18 holes, 5817m, Par 73, 6 lakes- Championship.

The house is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable, house was well cared for and very clean. Vicky was easy to get a hold of. It was about a 25 minute walk to get into town. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

An excellent property with a very attentive host. Very clean property with an excellent pool area. The property is very well located in a quiet cul de sac and close to the centre of Cascais and local supermarkets. Would thoroughly recommend this property to families. The 10/10 ratings are fully deserved!The villa is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished, very well equipped and exceptionally clean. The garden is private and makes a great place to relax - the rooftop terrace is perfect for sitting out in the evening.An easy walk to the town centre and the railway station, we had a great time exploring Cascais, Lisbon (40 minutes by train, and only EUR 2.45 each way!) and the surrounding area including the amazing Atlantic coast beaches.Vicky was a fantastic host: very welcoming on arrival, always willing to help and give guidance if needed, and otherwise kept completely out of our way.Thanks for a great stay - totally recommended!

We stayed in August 2025. The villa was excellent and I’m not sure the pictures really do it justice. It was full of character with something for everyone, loads of books, games and interesting art within the villa and plenty of space outside to explore. Numerous different seating areas in the garden and pool area to find some quiet if you need it. The pool was perfect.The villa was really well equipped and provided us with everything we needed. Bedrooms were lovely and a good size and the lounge area was great, very stylish and comfortable.Cascais is lovely, a myriad of restaurants to suit all tastes, lots of culture and amazing vistas. Lisbon is a short train ride away and the station is a 10 minute walk from the Villa.Overall a great place and would thoroughly recommend. Vicky was a great host throughout, very helpful.

A week in Cascais

The property was perfect. Vicky met us, explained where everything was and left us to it. Very comfortable beds, plenty of cooking utensils, lots of room - and beautifully furnished. The pool was lovely with different depth levels and there were different sitting areas in the garden, some shaded - plus a BBQ area at the side. Only 10 minutes walk down the hill into town. As an experiment we decided not to hire a car to avoid the hastle of picking up and returning. With many uber trips back from town, return trips from airport, Sintra, Guincha Restaurant and Carcavelos - plus two return trips into Lisbon by train with 4 people... we spent about EUR 200 for the week. We never waited more than 5 minutes for an Uber.We hope to return.

Perfect!!

Stayed with 5 other females for a 4 night break. Not only was the villa equipped with everything you could possible need, it was spotlessly clean and spacious with lots of seating areas inside and around the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out and take a few minutes to yourself away from the others if and when any of needed to. All the beds were super comfy. The villa owner really did think of everything, from displaying interesting items and artwork to admire, through to ironing boards, coffee machine etc. the villa is well located, 15 minute walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. We loved House of Wonders for brunch and dinner. They served the best sangria we tasted throughout our stay. We spent a day in Lisbon and a day in Sintra, both were easy to travel to. We chose Uber as it worked out easiest and most economical since 6 of us were sharing the costs. We al enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thank you Vicky, your house is beautiful and you obviously take much pride in renting your property.

We just left yesterday and I am yearning to be back!!! Do not hesitate one bit to stay at this beautiful villa. From start to finish, we loved our trip. Vicky has everything you need on the property -- beach towels, a well stocked kitchen, even a few goodies upon arrival. The property is centrally located, in a quiet location, with Cascais being a short walk away. Magic. We'll be back!!!!

Great property, close to beaches, shopping & restaurants

One of the best equipped rental homes we have ever stayed in. Vicky was at the door to meet us, there were fresh flowers throughout the house and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator. Two of the four bedrooms are on the smaller side but still comfortable. The linens were top quality and the kitchen was very well stocked. The backyard and pool were a delight for all of us, especially the 3.5 yo. A comfortable walk to the city center, restaurants, bars and great beaches. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you Vicky for hosting us in your beautiful home. So homely decorated. Actually absolutely my taste, could come and live there like that. A kitchen with really all the necessary equipment. Lovely towels in the bathrooms. As a hostess of a holiday home in Bruges myself, I know exactly what to look out for and can only advise future guests to choose this house with confidence, you will not be missing anything. Such a warm welcome. we were here to support our son who participated in the Iron Man, and it was a very special experience for our family and for our son enjoying the warmth and cosiness in your home after his extreme effort. Everything you will need in a vacation home

The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a home away from home. We cooked 4 meals using almost every pan and also used the outside BBQ. The pictures do not do the home justice. It is beautiful and there is so much attention to detail that you just want to hang out and enjoy the house. I would definitely come back and stay again in Vicky's lovely home.

Lovely house which is very well looked after. The small things were all taken care of which made life so much easier when arriving. Vicky was great and very helpful. Location was peaceful and within walking distance of Cascais town and marina, Ubers were also plentiful and cheap.

Fantastic house

What a lovely house and location Cascais is beautiful and such a friendly place The house was like staying in someone’s own home , beautifully presented and stocked with equipment and goodies. The garden and pool area was perfect with lots of chairs, loungers and cushions , and the outside toilet was really useful. The train to Lisbon was easy, and there are lots of restaurants in cascais to choose from. Thank you Vicki!

Beautiful villa

We stayed here for a week with our 2 grown up children and their partners. The villa is so comfortable, very clean and full of all the home comforts so that our holiday was just perfect. Vicky was a kind and generous host , nearby if we needed her but otherwise gave us privacy. We can’t recommend this highly enough and will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Vicky's home. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Nice pool and pretty garden with shady areas for those who prefer cooler spots. Vicky's hosting throughout was amazing and she providee a welcome pack with tasty food and drinks. Really a thoughtful gesture and nuch appreciated. We will definitely return.

First Class Property

This was our second time staying in this property and it hopefully won’t be the last. Everything is first class from a wonderfully welcoming host to a brilliant location in Cascais. The house, garden and pool are all perfectly maintained and presented. If you want to eat in the kitchen is very well equipped, with new oven, hob and Nespresso machine. However, if you’d rather not spend time cooking, you are no more than 10 minutes walk away from any number of great restaurants in Cascais itself. I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough.

A gem of a villa. Great amenities. Brilliant host! Definitely a multi generation place to stay.

Brilliant for all ages. We had a 2 year old in our party . Pool and mini pool great for children. Garden lovely. Amenities in the villa very comprehensive. Vicky our host was very helpful. Definitely a Top Place to Stay.

Extraordinary home and phenomenal host

This was part two of our trip. We loved being a little removed from the energy of center town of caiscais. It was so quiet and safe. Grocery, restaurants and pharmacy were available near the home and also an easy 1 mile walk to the coast/bigger grocery, shops etc. Vicky takes an enormous amount of pride in her rental and it shows in every detail. She was quick to help with places to go and how to get there. I feel privileged to have taken this trip and found this home to stay in with family and friends while in Portugal!!!
