"Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately it was not worth the cost. The property is extremely remote and located down a gravel road.  The biggest issue was the smell inside the home. It had a very strong musky odor throughout our stay, and we actually had to purchase fragrance spray to make it more tolerable. The bedding was also very uncomfortable — the top sheet felt rough and almost like cheesecloth against the skin. For two adults staying three nights, we were only provided with 3...

"The house is private, modern and spacious with all of the necessary amenities and had a really well equipped kitchen for cooking in. There is a lovely little hiking trail just down the hill from the house and Harper's Ferry is not far and has countless outdoor activities- (including a brand new bungee jumping site) and lots of great place to eat.The River Country Store is even closer and is a great little stop to pick up food basics and gifts.
