The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. "Our family of five enjoyed a fun filled week at Tony's private cove on beautiful Schoodic Lake. We canoed, swam, played endless board games that were at the camp, cooked delicious meals on the grill provided and ended each day with a relaxing camp fire that looked out over the lake. There were plenty of sleeping and hang out spots for everyone, but I enjoyed the screened in porch the most- watching the hummingbirds while drinking coffee. "The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed."

"We've stayed in many cabins across Maine and this is our favorite! Everything we needed was there plus bonuses like kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, etc.. A waterfront fire pit with a beautiful view and large deck overlooking the lake puts the Lake House a step above others! Also, the town of Lincoln and surrounding areas have several awesome restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The location is withing 2 hrs driving to the trails at the base of Katahdin, many beautiful lakes, streams, rivers, and...

"Beautiful home with all the amenities you need to visit this area. Parking is an issue with a group people as you share a driveway with the neighbor. Definitely not a snowmobile destination if you want to access trails from where you stay."

"The pictures don't do this property justice, it is much better than you expect. Plenty of room for a few families. So clean and very well stocked kitchen! We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area. "Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. The property is perfectly located on a pond perfect for ice fishing, or just enjoying the view, and the house was pristinely clean and very spacious inside.
