We will work hard to earn 5 stars! We call it simply “The Beach!” Because that’s right where it is- on Lydgate Beach, home of some of the island best and safest ocean swimming. This is a bright, new condo, right at the beach and decorated and themed for beach fun; everything is cool and white with beachy blue accents. All new after a three month long renovation just completed, it is centered on a bright, expansive oceanfront living room with Thomasville sectional with fabulous ocean views plus an 85” smart TV and high speed internet. Oceanfront indoor dining for eight. Bright, airy fully equipped oceanview kitchen with all major and upgraded small appliances.

The full width elevated oceanfront lanai has dining seats for 4-6 as well as rocking chairs and bench, all with comfy seats.

The all new bedrooms consist of the completely private upstairs King primary suite with glorious ocean views and breezes plus a full bathroom with double shower. The airy downstairs King suite has a full ensuite bathroom with tub shower combination and lovely garden views.

The living room features an easy to use Queen wall bed which converts in seconds from its daytime function as a large desk with ergonomic task chair; perfect for oceanfront catching up on work or e mails. With 13" Sealy Posturepedic mattresses on all 3 beds, this condo accommodates 6 in complete comfort. (We also have a 6” deep folding mattress for an extra child, so up to 7 can comfortably stay.)

This condo is upgraded! There’s a new in-suite washer and dryer vented outside (both are a boon and a rarity here) and 6 new ceiling fans (oversized wood in living room and bedrooms plus modern fan/light combos in kitchen and bathrooms). All bathroom fittings are Kohler with multi-head showers. The modern kitchen is very well equipped with full-size bottom mount fridge/ freezer, glass top range, hood fan and microwave. Plus a full suite of matching Ninja countertop appliances; combination Keurig/coffee machine, blender and multifunction air fryer. You will find every kitchen convenience you expect in a high-end form; a full set of new heavy steel flatwear, all matching blue stoneware, complete glasses and wine glasses and every tool you need. We keep the pantry stocked with basic goods and spices - and a stocked cocktail cabinet is also provided.

Fully equipped for your beach vacation with Tommy Bahama beach chairs and sun umbrella, boogie boards and surfboards (save on rent!) all in convenient outdoor storage right at the unit.

This condo includes four new hybrid bikes securely kept in designated bike racks steps from the condo. You really can leave your car parked once you arrive, or alternatively it is completely feasible to forget about a car altogether and just Uber from the airport (15 minutes); all of Kapa’a’s full facilities are a short bike ride away.

Kaha Lani is a beautifully maintained complex, arguably the Island’s finest. Immaculate landscaped grounds with a lovely oceanside swimming pool area with gas barbecues (BBQ tools and lighters are provided). A well maintained, often empty tennis court (Head titanium racquets and balls are provided). Kaha Lani has no other development around it, lying on an unspoiled stretch of shore essentially within the miles long landscaped beachfront of Lydgate Beach Park which has some of the Island’s very best ocean swimming - on beaches and in wonderful large and small adults and kids lava rock "swimming pools" built out into the ocean, giving all the beauty of ocean swimming in a protected, lifeguarded environment.

Coconut Gove marketplace with shops, bars and restaurants and Lava Lava on the beach dining is 5 minutes away by car or 10 by bike. Everything in Kapa’a town is 10 minutes away by car or 15 by bike. All services you need are there including local hangouts and small and large stores, in a cute old Hawaiian town to explore and enjoy.

We aim to make this beautiful condo, and its sister property “The Beach 2” a few minutes North the best places on the Coconut Coast to vacation! We’d love to see if you agree. (Please ask for details of The Beach 2 if your group exceeds six; groups of up to 10 can easily and successfully be accommodated between the two condos with each unit complementing the other).

Our Canadian family has personally managed our vacation rentals on Kauai since 2012. The home we owned longest earned 77 VRBO 5 star reviews. We've put everything we’ve learned over the years plus a lot of love into this endeavour and we will do our utmost to meet all your needs. We have been booking very steadily at both our properties and we do not anticipate offering these rates beyond next spring.
