The staff was the most friendly and helpful that I have encountered in recent travels. Breakfast was absolutely great. One should also consider taking evening meal here as well. "Our stay at Lakeview Guest House was so nice it far exceeded our expectations. All our needs were catered for and we got all the things we needed for our comfortable stay in time and always with a smile from a staff obviously dedicated to high standards of customer service and satisfaction. "I stayed for a night. The aircon works and is quiet, which is a big bonus for summer. Staff are friendly and obliging. Pricing is very affordable. However, numerous small repair issues point to a lack of care and pride. Fortunately i needed to get up early, as from 5.45am there are noises from music and staff that may disturb you. The bed is fine but pillows tired. Curtain are very thin so at night there is always outside light coming in."

"På bilderna och beskrivningen på Hotels.com får man uppfattningen att detta är ett hotell bestående av trevliga traditionella rondavlar. Så är det inte. De flesta rummen är belägna i slitna huslängor. Rummet vi fick var ett exempel på hur totalt nergånget allt kan bli där i stort sett inget fungerar. Heltäckningsmattan på golvet har nog varit vackert röd en gång i tiden. Nu var den skitigt brun. Det i texten utlovade kylskåpet fanns inte och någon wifi fungerade inte. Duschslangen var så trasig...

The door did not close properly because the door was not properly aligned to the frame. You had to bang it to get it shut. The side table was also used to keep tea making facilities. We arrived late at night in Maseru, Lesotho, (a city that ranks top 10 highest homicide rates worldwide) and were denied a room despite having paid and a confirmed booking. Explanation was that Expedia (Hotels.Com) always pays late, so they don't accept guests through their anymore. Completely cornered in this situation we ended up paying triple in addition to our Hotels,com Payment. Appalling, save yourself the hassle of staying with these thieves! "
