"Great little house attached to a larger villa. Nice and cool in the hot summer with thick walls and aircon in all bedrooms. A short walk to the very clean pool with plenty of loungers and shade or sun can be found throughout the day. The pool is shared with the larger attached house but we had it to ourselves most of the time. "A beautiful and elegant house obviously much loved by owners. There are large rooms with high ceilings and good air-conditioning in all the bedrooms. It's in a great location for walking into the walled city and also convenient to the train station. There are good bakeries and a grocery within easy walking distance. The kitchen has been redone to modern standards, so it's great for breakfast and meals if you don't want to eat out. When we arrived, we had some issues caused by previous renters....

"A group of 6 shared the villa for 6 weeks as a base for the Rugby World Cup games in southern France. The villa fulfilled all our needs. Clean, tidy, spacious with all the amenities you need. Rooms were great, outside spaces and pool were superb. I agree with all other excellent reviews. Boulangerie down the road and the town is excellent. "Belle semaine de vacances en famille dans ce logement très bien équipé et climatisé. La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques ! Le joli village de Fontvieille est accessible à pied. Un grand merci aux hôtes qui sont très sympathiques. Le seul petit défaut de la maison est que 2 des chambres sont en enfilade. Je recommande ce logement !"

"Just returned from a lovely stay in Mouries, Provence. Rudy the owner was extremely helpful on arrival recommending some super places for us to visit. The air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the current heatwave we've been experiencing. A great boulangerie/patisserie 2 minutes on foot down the road (one of several in the town!) . Great base for our trips out to visit the region. The garden was particularly lovely to sit out in - beautifully maintained."

Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. I would say that the WiFi could definitely be improved and it would be nice to arrive with at least some basics available - loo roll, water, dishwasher tablets, a few staples/ condiments. Très bon contact avec l’hôte et sa famille. "A beautifully restored property. We had a wonderful stay. The house is very well equipped and renting was a very smooth process. Odile was very helpful right from the start. When we arrived, we had an issue with one of the units anc it was fixed the next day. Lovely view from the terrace and the pool was perfect for us. Everything was just right"
