Location! Location! Location!
Every thing is walkable … beach, grocery, several restaurants. Very comfortable, spacious and clean accommodations. Kitchen was well equipped too. I’d definitely choose it again should I be in the area overnight (as I live 2 hours further north). Thank you for maintaining such a warm, spotless, lovely place.

Good location
Right in Leland and grocery store across the street so every thing was convenient. Beds were extremely comfortable. Keep in mind there are very few places for dinner without driving into other towns. The Cove and restaurant at the golf course were both great.

LOCATION
Leland is such a small wonderful little town on Lake Michigan. This rental was 2nd floor above a shop. (Zero noise). We had a charter leaving from Leland this was probably a 30 second walk to the dock. Also 30 second to Fishtown and 3 minutes to a beach for a fantastic sunset. What I'm trying to say is the location was superb!! Unit was old, it is advertised as oldest building in Leland, but was super clean. Enjoy!

Great looking places except the beds were hard as a rock….. however the pillows made it comfortable enough. I would go there again for sure. Leland was extremely clean zero trash on the ground anywhere very nice!! The place looks like a movie set.

Awesome Apartment in Fishtown
This apartment far exceeded our expectations; it was everything we needed and more. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity that we needed for a week's stay. The location is superb - open the front door and you are in the heart of Fishtown. The designated parking space was a bonus. The owner was great with communicating with us; we had no issues. Looking forward to going back in 2023.

Nice Location
Great location to stay to enjoy Leland and Fishtown and for checking out some of the other attractions in the area. The property owner was very responsive whenever we needed anything. The rooms were clean and it was a nice, spacious apartment.

It was a nice open floor plan, comfortable and amenable. Games provided to play if needed. Could have used a couple more wash cloths and a good egg pan... the eggs stuck bad and soaked most of the day to get clean. Over all, we liked it and would like to rent again.

Downtown location next to Fishtown
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Very convenient location above a retail business. Leland is tiny, just a crossroads on the M22 and this unit puts you in walking distance to all the stores, Fishtown, grocery, restaurants and beaches. A few minor inconveniences were, check in seemed unnecessarily draw out. Instructions are to call a store and find out when they close, then to meet the manager on your arrival for the code to the door. It seems unnecessary to call (just let the guest know the hours on arrival day!) And in our case the manager wasnt immediately available so we waited around 5-10 mins and eventually a store clerk gave us the code. (Why not include the code in the welcome email- that included the address and other check in Instructions?). Other thing was the AC and heating controls are on a set pattern- many guests will never notice but some are sensitive to the temp and want to adjust it. That requires texting the property owner to remotely change it and he was out of pocket the first day or two so there was a lag in making changes to the temp and running the system fan at night (which i like for white noise). Ultimately it was straightened out but it was a a little burdensome. Due to this downtown location you are in a commercial area and on a couple mornings trash pick up is about 5 am with a lot of noise- the beeping of the garbage trucks in reverse and clanging and banging of the dumpsters. These are the biggest nit picks in the experience because really no major complaints about the property over all. As many other reviews touch on it is clean, spacious and has a fully functioning kitchen. Only thing to be improved on for guests that eat in a lot- the cutting knife was as dull as a butter knife so cutting veggies was near impossible. But the kitchen has all the cutlery and utensils needed for cooking a full meal. A plus was the grocery was across the street and about 20 mins away in suttons bay was a larger grocery store for more extensive shopping. Fishtown is across the street which is a very charming old commercial fishing village that is under preservation efforts. Its definitely worth visiting and was interesting to see and read the history. Going in October Leland is sleepy and a couple restaurants had closed for the season but you avoid lots of tourists and traffic and the stunning Lake Michigan scenery has not changed.

Lovely apartment just steps from historical pier shanties/shops and a few minutes walk to beaches. Clean and we’ll-appointed. Listing “sleeps 6” was inaccurate & caused a change of plans for family trip but was promptly changed to “4 adults & 2 kids” by Richard. Only downside: no recycling to protect this beautiful natural & historic place - we brought all our plastic & bottles home!

HI Pamela, Thank you for your review. Adding recycling is a great idea. The apartment does sleep six and I have always posted four adults in the vrbo description and the guest agreement has always specifically stated a maximum of four adults and two children. After your feedback, I added "and 2 children" in the vrbo description for clarification. This misunderstanding had not occurred before. When you mentioned it to me, I offered a full refund, and I revised the vrbo description so that this could not happen again. Thank you for your assistance in this matter and thank you for your feedback

Perfect apartment right in Fish Town!
This property is just perfect for those who don’t like to drive around a lot while vacationing. You’re a short, 8 minute walk to a beautiful beach, and just outside your apartment is all the shopping and dining you will need. The property manager is very kind and works with you all while maintaining excellent communication. The apartment itself is simple and clean. It’s very comfortable with great ventilation. We will definitely be back and have already asked for extended stay discounts when we return.

Amazing stay and great location! SO CLEAN!
We cannot express how pleased we were with our stay! We came up for a wedding and decided to make a vacation out of it.. the location was absolutely amazing- so close to all necessities that you could need/think of. The apartment was very toddler friendly and when I say clean... SO. VERY. CLEAN!!!! Absolutely spotless, honestly not even a crumb under the fridge/furniture (only know this because our daughter likes to roll bouncy balls under things LOL) and the most comfortable pillows on the beds. It’s a short drive to traverse city, Christmas cove beach, and Sutton’s bay. They had so many different board games and all the cooking equipment you need to bring your own food to cook. We will definitely be staying here again and will 10/10 recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the area!! Thank you so much!!

Location, location, location!
Our family enjoyed our weekend getaway to Leland. This rental is right downtown Leland, just steps from Fishtown and Van’s Beach. Perfect size for our family of four. The rental is well-appointed and clean, we would stay again.

Best location for a downtown Leland stay
We loved how spacious this property was. For 4 adults, it felt like we weren’t living on top of each other for once in a small vacation home. We stayed in Leland for a wedding and this property was about an 8 minute walk to both the Leland Lodge and minute-walks to restaurants and shopping. We’d recommend it over and over again. Clean, perfect, easy check-in process.

Great Trip to Leland
We enjoyed this wonderful apartment. My husband and I went and our son & his wife & two small children also came up to spend 3 evenings in Leland. This apartment was so comfortable and Gave us a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the beaches looking for rocks, shop the lovely stores in Leland and climb the dunes in nearby Glen Arbor. We really enjoyed the down time together as a family. Robert was wonderful to work with and we all want to come back again.

Easy check in, a dedicated parking spot, very clean, and well appointed. Apartment is spacious with a large kitchen, large bathroom, quality appliances throughout, and solid wi-fi. Central to Sleeping Bear National Park, Northport, Glen Arbor, etc. We had never explored the Leelanau area before, and found plenty of hiking, wineries, shops, restaurants and public beaches within a short drive of Leland.

Great location & setup
We had a very nice stay. Great location, walkable to vans beach and all the shops and restaurants in downtown Leland. Quick drive to one of the Lake Leelanau beaches. Property manager was accessible And responsive as well as pleasant. Apartment was well stocked with basic necessities. Really enjoy the convenience of the location!
