"We were 5 women in our fifties away for our anual break together. We would like to thank Han for providing his lovely house-boat for our accomodation. The boat was full of charme with a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour and very central, and quite easy to find despite the roadworks. "Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. "Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. We would still return here next time we're in Amsterdam."

"I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself."

Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. "It’s a sufficient place to stay, a good location, and the owner is lovely, but you have to climb up and down stairs that are almost like a ladder to get to your room and there is NO view whatsoever. It’s a barge, not really a houseboat. We are older, and wouldn’t have rented if we had known you couldn’t see out and ladder climbing was involved!"
