The interior was quite unique, what with the beautifully stained concrete floor, the wooden slats covering portions of the walls and kitchen island, the quaint rocking chair beside the fireplace and splashes of marble adorning areas of the floor and wall. "We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Maple Hill is a piece of living history and it was a privilege to stay there. The owners are excellent stewards of this absolute gem. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Every detail in the house is stunning. We took time to look at everything inside and outside so that we could absorb the beauty of the home and property. "We stayed at the property while visiting distilleries in the area. It was perfect for us — 2 couples, no kids — each couple had their own bedroom & bathroom. We enjoyed evenings on the deck in back of the house and also having coffee & a quick breakfast on site before heading to our scheduled distillery visits. It’s a quiet, clean house and we enjoyed the rural setting and would book again when we’re in the area. Our hosts quickly responded when we had any questions."
