Feriecentre i Lead

"Pros: easy check-in process, nicely renovated 1912 building, very high ceilings, nice antiques in the rooms and common area, convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants (the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center is close by and definitely worth a visit!). Con: our room was the Judge’s Chamber on the second floor and it faced Main Street. The street was maybe 25’ from our window. Main Street is one lane each direction with parking on each side. The speed limit is maybe 25 mph. We were...

"The property had been cleaned a week before we arrived. Therefore, when we got there, there was a dying mouse on the floor which broke my heart. I didn't need to see that. There was chewed up toilet paper all over the bathroom floor and mouse droppings as well. My husband disposed of the poor little mouse, while I swept up the mess in the bathroom. I was later in the kitchen looking in a drawer for coffee filters and there were mouse droppings and chewed up paper in that drawer. I let the...

"just an awesome, old time but containing every modern amenity place.. great restaurant downstairs, bar! i mean saloon.. really glad i stayed"

"Place was pretty small but ok for a couple. AC noise very loud so impossible to hear the TV or get much sleep. Blinds were warped, dirty, and missing wands. You will need a 4 wheel drive to access the property. Owner was very nice and responsive. Would recommend they fix the pathway, to the front door, as it is a tripping hazard."

"I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to stay. They had everything that we needed and the owner was very nice and had information about all the things to do around deadwood"

"The Canyon was Beautiful!! And there were really neat waterfalls nearby plus the Dances with Wolves winter scene site near the Lodge. Also a great restaurant across the street."
