This hotel is not newly renovated! It's very old. The carpet in the room, the bathroom and especially the bathtub were filthy! Thank goodness the beds appeared clean and yes we checked for bedbugs. The room had a funny smell to it like urine. There was only one elevator that worked so it was at least a 10 min wait to get on if there wasn't a line. Mind you, there was a total of 6 elevators and only one functioned. The staff at checkc in was the only positive thing about the place. The strip view i paid extra for was a view of the Tropicana being torn down, with the strip behind that. The pictures of the hotel looks nice online but when you see it in person, it's like a bait and switch. I will never stay at Oyo again or recommend it.

Only one elevator was working throughout our stay here, the stairs were not labeled and were confusing, staff gave contradictory answers to questions, and we had a giant bug in our room

The AC did not work in the room but the room was clean but very dated. Needs an update. Walking to the hotel from the strip was the only time during the time in Vegas we felt unsafe walking. They were doing demolition on the hotel next to us.

This property reeks of cigarette smoke. We hate cigarettes! Our room smelled like smoke and then they tried to charge us for smoking in our room!!! It is unbelievable. Worst hotel ever.

The entire staff was great, front desk & housekeeping had zero issues. Extremely friendly and helpful my entire stay & the hotel itself was pretty clean. The only drawbacks during my stay was the fact that the elevator button on the 3rd floor didn’t work for some reason, so we had to take the stairs, which is fine since it isn’t a higher floor. And the demolition next door is a little noisy in the morning if you’re directly facing it, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. This is my second time staying here, for the price is definitely worth it.

The elevator was by far the worst thing about the Oyo. One functional elevator for an entire floor of rooms, you’re talking half an hour sometimes to get up and down to your room. Same thing for the parking garage elevator, only one worked. Aside from that, dining options were kind of limited, hooters was the only thing open late. The cafe closes way too early, we went for EDC and wouldn’t get up till later, a cup of coffee would have been nice but we had to go off property to get anything worthwhile. Guess we can’t expect much for a cheaper rate and booking later than we should have.

For being a hotel and casino in Vegas I expected more. There were cracks in the doors chunks missing from the door jam like someone forced it open. The AC was broken in our room. Called there maintenance twice went to the front desk about it. Nothing. It's Vegas it's hot you need ac. But I guess this is there marketing trick to get ppl out of the rooms and into the casino. Won't be back.

Room was dirty, staff was rude, also I got charge for smoking violation and I got charged more then $400 and I don’t smoke nobody does from my family very disappointed I will never return to this horrible place

like the place. cheapest hotel near the strip. the room and bathroom needs a bit of an improvement but stayable. needs a bit of renovation and more elavators please. had to wait too long for elevators. but staircase is always open. but not convenient if your room is up on the 12th floor. otherwise, it’s got great location if you want a cheap hotel near the strip.

Very affordable and decent location - not right on the Strip but convenient. There was only one working elevator, which we heard has been the case for quite some time. They really need to fix at least one other one. The construction next door at the Tropicana was annoying with jackhammering early in the morning. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

The noise from the air conditioner was too much. You should try sleeping in this room once. You will never be able to sleep. Please don't charge money for a room that people can't sleep in the future.

The A/C was very low. The bes sheets had small hairs on them. Windows were extremely dirty ( probably from the demolition of a building next door) Only one elevator was working… Staff was very friendly and supportive.

Room was not cleaned well. Faucet handle broken, all the surfaces had dust and sticky parts. Window couldn’t even close all the way so it was loud from outside. Couldn’t sleep the first night because of it

Staff was HORRIBLE! The General manager and the shift manager were so rude!! They charge you a resort fee for a nasty hotel. Out of 6 elevators only ONE was working. It would be over 20 minutes to even get into one. We were on the 11th floor and would take the stairs instead.. Then we received a notice that the smoke detector detected smoke in our room therefore we were going to be charge over $400. I tried talking to the front desk and they gave me a script of that it was non refundable and I had to dispute it with my credit card. Spoke with 2 shift managers who laughed at me when I explained that I didn’t smoke and have never smoked. She was being sarcastic and plain rude! I happened to check the BBB and there are hundreds of complaints for the same reason. So they charge you cheap for your room but get you with these nonsense fees. It is ridiculous.. I will NEVER stay there again. I have submitted multiple complaints to get my refund and it has not happened!! DO NOT STAY AT OYO!!

I checked in and a couple minutes the toilet started to flood . I have a video and pictures .. the lady down stairs was super rude about it . And didn’t want to switch my room . The line was super long to check in as well one one person working in the front it was the worse

There was only one elevator to get to my room, wait time was unreasonable. I had to walk up several flights of stairs to get my room. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
