Hostels i Laos

"I had high hopes for this place since the photos looked so nice. But soon became disappointed. I got a single room and the bed was truly awful. I felt I was sleeping on a box spring or something even worse. When I walked in there was hair all over the pillows and the towel they gave me was dirty and brown. I tired to sleep on the bed but could not. I left early because it was so bad. It was only $1 more for the single room so that’s why I chose it. But I can’t believe I paid $23 for one night in...

"I don’t usually write reviews and was very skeptical about this hostel when I booked it since it’s so low cost (I paid USD $15 for 3 nights including taxes). I took a chance on it due to all the prior/raving reviews... so here I am writing one in case you have the same doubt! This is a relatively newly opened hostel and on my arrival, Mr Lai Lee put me in a separate room so I can have some privacy to myself. This is such a nice gesture (tho it’s low travel season in Laos), but he didn’t have...

"So the hostel is doing lots of renovations! So the property looks dirtier than the pictures show. There were no towels given but we brought our own. Staff were friendly but the language barrier was a problem. I think once they are done renovating and clean up the property will be beautiful!"

"Got to the hostel and it was total chaos. They showed us 5 rooms before actually finding the one we had booked. Some of the rooms was already ocupied by others, so that made us feel our stuff was unsafem when we got our room, the toilet did not work and there were ants in the bed. We got upgraded after a bit of arguing and the new room was Ok, at best. Stains on the sheets etc. Makes for a not to cosy stay... the shower is completly usless. If your only aim is a bed to sleep in and you do not...

"I only stayed here for 12 hours as a stop point but I almost wish I stayed longer. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable place. Cute theme and good location. Beds are comfortable and allow good space. You get a free coffee or tea once you arrive which is nice. They looked like they had a lot of activities you could do. I would come back."

"SCAM! The place doesn't even exist anymore. And the number doesn't even pick up when called. I demand a refund! Was so stressed when I arrived and had to walk around finding another place. "
