"Family operated; very helpful staff in getting settled and answering any questions we had."

"We ended up not staying. The place was like an apartment building for foreign workers."

"The person that checked me in acted like I was imposing on her time. She was neither friendly nor was she rude, I wished I had made reservations at a different hotel. The staff was very cordial & helpful with doors, directions, etc. but the woman at the desk doesn’t need to be the face of Hampton Inn at Gallopolis Ohio"

"The rooms are clean and breakfast is good. The beds are not great and the pillows were not good at all. I’m happy with the cleanliness though and staff was nice."

"Expedia made an error in the date booking and neither they or the hotel would offer to fix it. NEVER book hotels with Expedia, just google all of the hundreds of complaints about this known issue."

"The price is very good compared to other hotel/motels in the area. I would stay again as it's just a place to sleep. Clean, everything worked, there are no frills and nothing extra. The bad: there is a lot of highway noise as the room is not very well insulated. The bed was just ok, we didn't sleep well between the two. The property is not well maintained as far as the exterior or building goes. Again, for the price and a place to rest it worked."
