"A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

"Our overall impression of this place can be summed up in two words; absolutely amazing! These mountain retreats are a retreat in so many ways. The views are spectacular. I’m not a morning person, but I set the alarm for a little before sunrise and was not disappointed. We did beautiful time lapsed videos both days and it is almost surreal knowing you are just a few miles from Saluda, and yet you feel you’re being given your personal view to the calm and awe inspiring sunrise. And the dawn chorus...

"The house was as described and looked exactly like the photos. The host was great at communicating and very prompt with answering any concerns I had. “Check-In” was simple, as just a door code was provided at check-in time. It is well decorated so there are plenty of photo opportunities. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for guests to have privacy. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils and supplies(trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, etc)-even had a few seasonings....

"This place is beautiful and amazing, even better than described! Our big family had a great time together and spread out, and the lake was so much fun with the kayaks and paddleboards provided. We played board games when it thundered and enjoyed ping pong tournaments together.
