"This is a nice property in Monemvasia but we did experience a few problems. The electricity went out multiple times and we were initially asked to work around their schedule for check-in time. Communication with the management was unpleasant and some untruths were told by them. Not sure whether this was an isolated event or a pattern. Perhaps others will have a better experience than we did. Nice looking property though."

"Markos ist der beste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Er gibt einem das Gefühl,dass man eher bei einem Freund zu Besuch ist als in einer gebuchten Unterkunft. Die Häuser sind neu und mit allem ausgestattet,was man benötigt. Der nächste Strand ist fußläufig ohne Probleme in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Die gesamte Insel sorgt innerhalb kürzester Zeit für maximale Entspannung! Vielen Dank Markos!!!"

There was wood for the fireplace. 2 nice size bedrooms with queen beds, 1 smaller bedroom suitable for single occupancy. 2 nice size full bathrooms.For anyone over 60, access will be challenging. "I stayed for two nights at Lakonia Hotel in late April 2026 as part of a wider "odyssey" across mainland Greece. The hotel is well located in the centre of town near restaurants and with Ancient Sparta within walking distance. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Street parking was not a problem. Will recommend."
