"We spent four nights recently in Serendipity in the Lakelands complex in Ambleside. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped, so was the bathroom, and there was good storage. "Compact apartment, perfect for a couple or single. Small double bed and limited headroom in the bedroom but fine for a few nights. Due to limited headroom there isn’t a shower but there is a shower attachment in the bath for hair washing. Great location in the centre of Grasmere. We would definitely return."
