"The room we got was 3m X 3m. Movement inside the room was very restricted as you had to step over your suitcases. The "personal bath and toilet" was a shared affair. The toilet was 3 steps down, a walk of 15 metres, 3 steps up and you were there. The bathroom was close - a mere 10 m. away. The only good thing comfort wise was the free parking on the premises. The breakfasts were excellent as were the owners of the place,"

"We only stayed one night but we enjoyed our time here. Room was on 3rd floor which was a struggle with big suitcases and stairs, but the room was nice and we could park the car no problem. Self check in was easy. You can’t eat in the room which was a bit weird, but we had nice Thai food down the road. We could make tea which was nice. You can log in to your own streaming services, but none are provided. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again 😊 "

"Ivythwaite Lodge is a beautiful house with many original features. It was a bonus to have a fridge in the room. We appreciated the warmth of the property and also the excellent service provided by Andrew and Abigail. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked options could be ordered the night before by text.
