"Great part of river to be on, all of us enjoyed canoeing up and down both ways on the river from the cottage, fantastic scenery and swimming off the dock turned out better than I though with being on a river with how calm it is, great location"

"The property is well kept with gorgeous views. The inside is cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice to cook in. It was like a home away from home. Lots of amenities and we enjoyed sitting in the sauna and hot tub after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend Kuro at Paint Lake. I would go here again. "

"Wonderful location. A large wooded private property with its own private lake. Only one other cabin apart from this one. Complete silence surrounded by the leafy canopy of tall trees...heaven! Its like like staying in your own private Provincial Park. That is the glam part. The camp part means that there is no electricity, no plumbing and no wi-fi. But then who needs those urban comforts? Isnt the idea to escape from them for while? I certainly learned to appreciate every drop of water we used...

"What a magical cabin! The attention to detail created a serene and lovely experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean, exceptionally well appointed and we lacked for nothing. The beds were super comfy and I had a wonderful soak in the soaker tub. Haliburton is several minutes away and a really fun town to explore. Would highly recommend!"

"Nancy and Greg have turned the loft above the garage into a cozy getaway with all the comforts of home. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meal. They were responsive to all our questions and needs. If you are wanting some peace and tranquility, I would highly recommend this lakeside loft."

"The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside...

"The place was spotless and the location was great. Unfortunately, the mattresses for the bunk beds were thin so my daughter didn’t sleep very well. There were a few other small things that could be improved such as replacing the toaster with one that works and fixing the toilet paper holder in the bathroom.But the host was responsive when I messaged that the door entry code didn’t come through."
