"Very friendly staff. Newly remodeled in some areas, so other areas are still being improved. The room we stayed in was spacious with a desk and seating area with two chairs and a coffee table. The beds were double rather than queen, but they were comfortable and served their purpose for the night. We would definitely stay here again. Can't wait to see how the rest of the remodeling goes."

"The place was great! We stayed at this location for our 4 night trip to cedar point with no problems! The price is pretty reasonable and not too far from the park. Everyone complaining about the trains must have never stayed in Sandusky..almost every hotel in the area has the same “problem”. We will definitely be back in the fall! "

"Stayed there because of my kids baseball tournament. Price was great and I got exactly what I hoped for. Room was clean. Floor was laminate hardwood so my allergies were good. No worn carpet to worry abt. Shower and bathroom were clean. Beds were comfy. My only negatives were the pool was closed. They told me it didn't open until Memorial Day and we were there the weekend before. A sign by the pool gate or at the check in counter would've been nice. It's was 85 when we checked in. "Staff was amazing and the rooms were clean enough, nice a and close to Cedar Point. The pool wasn't super warm but was definitely nice to soak after leaving the Park. P.s. the staff was very understanding for us checking in I called them and let them know I am not sure if we would be able to get out of the park in time to check in, and she told me we have until the park closed to check in."

"The motel in a quiet area with a path to walk to a small beach area with a great view. Staff were sweet as can be, check in and out went very smoothly. The porch area around my room door was noticeably buggy and there were several mosquitos that had gotten into my room, but it’s understandable given the proximity to the lake. "We spent two night to watch total solar eclipse here. Very clean and great managed property. Located in safe, quiet region with easy access to highways, and close to islands and great lakes. Some distant sounds of train can be heard at night. But it's not a concern to us at all. Management is definitely outstanding. We were not just provided necessary info, but also some great idea about events in the area. They even provided glassed for solar eclipse watching. I were told some facility updates...

"I chose this place knowing the bad reviews and terrible conditions, expecting the worst, and it did not surprise me. It was dirty, and dilapidated. The tiles and wallpaper were falling off the walls. The owner was friendly, but the room was truly awful. He said that he didn't have my reservation, but could rent me a room he wasn't planning on renting out due to issues. Not sure whether to summate this as a good or a bad thing. "We accepted the fact that we booked this condo with nothing to do on this island. This particular condo was janky. The overall layout and view at this building is great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. "This was the perfect location for hosting a bachelorette party. Close to town but still semi-included. Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out.
