Hytter i Lake District National Park

"This is my 2nd time staying at the Station Lodge. You can't beat the price, the location and both times I've stayed I had nice large rooms. It's literally across the street from the train station, and as this is the last stop on the train you literally don't hear any sounds from the train. AND the trailhead for the Orett trail is also literally across the street. This trail spiders out to many other trails. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, pubs and the awesome grocery store with a cafe...

"Really lovely place to stay for a few days, we did have a leak under the bathroom sink which we reported but no response, but it didn't bother us as we put a bowl underneath it."

"This home is right on the lake, perfect for a quiet stay in a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Close to many Lake District attractions. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, provided many helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby necessities. The check in process was very smooth and easy. The house is well equipped with necessary items to make your stay comfortable. Overall great, we had a lovely Lake District vacation!"

"Only isssue was no BBQ as listing states. A number of bulbs not working in the property. Fantastic lodge in a fantastic location. "

"Never received the check in details 24 hours before so couldn’t risk taking the family and I had to do a 5 hour round trip to go get them, we didn’t have any hot water for the first 24 hours. The mattress in the main bedroom was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on and after the first night slept in the lounge, also there isn’t a table so they provide 4/5 small tables to eat off but 1 of these had 2 missing legs and another’s legs were about to fall off. This might be ok for a couple...
