"We stayed for two nights in the pig pod. It was extremely comfortable and cosy. Children loved the built in bunk beds. Great location with wonderful views and quick access to the heart of the lakes. Enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Wonderful stay and will visit again."

"Lovely caravan in a convenient and beautiful location. The caravan itself was clean and well equipped. The outdoor bath was a huge hit with the children. The owners of the farm on which the caravan is located couldn't be more friendly and accommodating if they tried. My son, 13, had a brilliant time helping to milk the cows. He didn't want to leave really. The amount of space for the children to play in was great too. I'd certainly recommend this place to families."

"Die Übergabe von Julie war sehr verlässlich und humorvoll. Die Lodge ist tadellos in Schuss. Wir empfanden ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis. Im Schwimmbad (extra Kosten von ca. 25 Pfund pro Tag und Familie) konnten wir gut entspannen. Die Gegend mit dem Nationalpark Lake District und Lancaster ist eine Reise wert. Wir haben uns in der gepflegten Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt."

"This place is not about the cleanliness or hygiene, it about getting back into the natural world, seeing Mother Nature at her best, taking advantage of the lovely wilderness. It was so peaceful and tranquil, the sound of the stream next to us was amazing! Would definitely recommend! Currently looking for my own hut I’ve lived it so much!"

"We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊"

"It was a good cabin and very clean. Everything was there that we needed. Pub on site was a little expensive not really ideal for a family budget but the pub up the road was a little better. Kids were disappointed that the pony trekking had closed and is still advertising on the website. Other than that we overall had a well earned brealk"

"Very good properly. Clean and tidy. Had everthing we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. Just could have done with a fan as very hot in cabin. Cabin were a little close to each other but overall was nice break. Good value for money. Letting company were good."

"Well proportioned, clean property set within a beautiful location. Would happily stay again at this price point. Could be noted that the site Wi-Fi is essentially £30 a week which is mildly annoying, but hopefully you’ll be spending your days out and about enjoying the incredible scenery!"

"Staff at reception very friendly and informative. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our lodge and although we didn't take part it looked like there was lots of activities going on (this didn't disturb us) Our lodge was bigger than expected and clean Lots of cutlery and plates to use and a filter coffee machine which was a lovely touch. The property is easy to get to and a good base for exploring the area. "
