"Everything was great. Rooms are massive. Only complaint is the extreme cost of food and water in the hotel. A bottle of water in the resort’s restaurants was $12 for example.
My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and spent $1,200 on food, eating 2 times a day on average.
There is a 15% gratuity and 10% tax on every meal. The 15% gratuity goes to all the workers throughout the restaurant and the waiter still expects their tip. We went to a couple different resorts to visit and every restaurant was...

"Our trip to Baha Mar SLS was very relaxing and enjoyable. We dined at Cleo, Marcus, Costa and Shaung Bau. The service was excellent everywhere you went. From the pools to the hotel staff. The only negative is the room was small and there was no actual space on the balcony to sit. That’s something I would change next time. "

But Bahamas is very expensive and so is the food.
So all inclusive is a good option.
The restaurants at the hotel are absolutely horrible. The worst food I have ever had. The buffet is ok, good salat bar, some good options some of the theme days.
The grillbar at the pool is very good. Good fresh grilled burgers.
The noise at the hotel is constant and horrible. Very loud music by the beach and pool 14 hours a day.

"AMAZING place to stay. Beautiful, safe and clean. The AC worked amazing and the water pressure was great. The pools are beautiful and the option for breakfast in the morning was such a luxury. The beds were SUPER comfortable and the property was beautiful. The trees offered fresh delicious mangos for your eating. It was easy to find, getting in and out and locking the door was easy and such a breeze. I literally have ZERO complaints. My only recommendation would be to have a rental car as taxis...

"The resort is very nice, beautiful views and location. The staff is very friendly and our cleaning lady Michelle W was fabulous with cleaning our room and keeping it stocked. It wasn’t too crowded, always found a spot by the pool under an umbrella. The 4 of us would definitely go back. "

"Hotellet emmer af historie. Det ligger i oppe ad en lille bakke i centrum. Værelserne er trods indretning m "plys og papegøjer" meget rene. Meget disponible og søde ansatte. Poolen fantastisk smuk og ren. Fitness rummet i elendig og meget snavset stand. Morgenmaden elendig og for dyr (indtag den ude i byen - gode diners). Middagen på hotelrestauranten var middelmådig og prismæssigt ude af proportioner. Sjovt at rulle sine egne cigarer på den tilhørende cigarfabrik."

"Positives – great location far enough away from the chaos of Nassau and the cruise ship port. Lovely rooms that were beautifully decorated and ours was fairly recently renovated. Two large pools – one heated and the other less so. Beachfront, plus the option of taking the boat over to their private island. Mini bar included – as long as you can get them to refill it which took a call to reception each day!
Negatives – room cleaning was inconsistent. Every day something was forgotten – towels, bathmat, mopping the floors etc or even cleaning our room entirely! Room was on the 6th floor and water pressure was poor - at worst we had the shower on ‘full’ yet we weren’t even getting a dribble of water. The Sandals app is clunky and doesn’t function at all well. We didn’t book a ‘butler’ room and were glad we didn’t. We weren’t enthused with the concept and most definitely didn’t like the two-tier class system it created. The onsite restaurants vary dramatically from awful to great in terms of food quality + service. Sandals sell their all inclusive package as ‘all premium alcohol included’. BUT in several restaurants we were also given a wine list with additional cost and NOT told we could still order from the wines that were included until we asked. Felt like an underhand way to make more money. We were lucky to have a quiet room on the back side of the ‘East Bay’ building. Rooms overlooking the west pool get far more noise from the events + loud music all day."
