"The location was the only good thing about it. It said parking on the property, but it was in front of the house. We parked in the empty lot next door. There was trash in the bedroom and the bathroom shower walls were dirty. She sent the cleaning lady over, but she said it was stained. There was pink soap down the side of shower and the whole bottom was terrible. We were glad the bedroom had air but she said it couldn’t be lower than 24 which is 75 f to warm in already stifling hot weather....

"The property itself was quite nice and the beach is great. However, we were battling cockroaches the entire time. We probably killed around 12 roaches. "We really enjoyed our stay at Amarena Canvas. The luxury tents were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. It was a unique experience that combined the feeling of being close to nature with the comfort of a high-end hotel. The location by Playa Hermosa is great if you’re looking for a quieter area close to Jacó. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good. Overall, it was a relaxing and luxurious stay, and we would happily recommend Amarena Canvas to anyone looking for a comfortable glamping experience in Costa Rica."
