"This home is a great getaway. We sat outside for hours, watching the deer, eagles, and otters. The opposite shoreline is all undeveloped, it really felt like we were the only ones on the lake for most our stay. Great location for everything we like to do in the northwoods!"

"We had a 3 day stay with our 4 and 6 year old boys for their first “up north” experience. They very much enjoyed hunting for crayfish and snails by the dock. The water was nice and clear. Neil was very responsive and luckily we didn’t need any help during our stay but he called to check in that everything went well with check in. Only 10 minutes or so from all the experiences in Minocqua! "

"I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin."

"We had beautiful weather and the house was perfect for our purpose of getting a few days away together as a family before everyone went off to their colleges and school and what not again. Very clean and updated property (and I’m extremely picky lol). Perfect access to lake. " The Hideaway literally lives up to its name. It took a couple of calls to the property management company to help us find the Hideaway. If seclusion is what one is looking for, then this is your place! We really enjoyed the beautiful, picturesque, peaceful lakeside setting. The property included a row boat which is great.
