Private ferieboliger i La Palmera

"Erick was very helpful! The house is no frills but definitely comfortable for anyone needing an inexpensive place to stay. The house is on the river which provides for a stunning landscape and the backyard is near perfection and attracts birds and butterflies!"

"★★★★★ We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The owners, a lovely Swiss couple, are truly kind and beautiful people who made our experience feel incredibly warm and personal. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it really showed in every detail. The kids absolutely loved the heated jacuzzi—it was a highlight for them! And the breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. This place has such a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere, and we’re...

"Our drive there took longer than expected so we were exhausted when we arrived! It was so clean and had all that we needed to relax. The hot tub was a bonus as we were sore and tired and the view is beautiful! I definitely recommend this place!"

"Check in was easy, pretty spot and view. Needed to use the back patio during the heat of the day until the sun went down, because the direct sun in the front area is intense. We were surprised the sliding doors and all windows did not have screens, but it wasn't too bad. Our biggest issue was the refrigerator wasn't funcioning properly, and the toaster and coffee maker were also not working. We communicated these issues with the host and there was no discussion of repair or help to ensure our...

"Beautiful home with amazing amenities. Josh our 24/7 concierge was incredible. He helped us book some activities in the area and even ordered placed food delivery for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience 10/10"

"The host was amazing, she showed us around their beautiful gardens and explained different plants. The cabin is new and very comfortable. The view from the shower was pretty cool"

"This place was perfect!! It's a peaceful beautiful location close to La Fortuna but away from the tourist area. Fran was an amazing host!! We stayed here for our wedding and they treated us to a complementary float breakfast and even carved us a handmade ornament with our wedding day date on it! This place is great!! 100% recommend!"

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"

"Nice property. Very well situated and quiet. Was pretty clean. Space to park car if you rent one. A toaster would have been a great option to have! Host was very responsive. Would stay again at this property"

"We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!"

"Chambre propre mais assez éloigné des activités. Petit déjeuner tres compliqué et communication toujours long"

"Host was very responsive. Cool site. "
