"The people working in the property were very friendly! They helped us check in early and met all the needs we needed. Only issue is that the gate would not open when trying to enter the property. And the room was a bit hot even with AC. "

"We visited La Fortuna for my retirement trip with our 5 grown children and had the absolute BEST time. The house is incredible - well maintained and had plenty of space for 7 adults. The location of the house is perfect! We were just a few minutes away by car from everything that La Fortuna has to offer plus we could literally sit on the back porch and watch a wide variety of birds and monkeys in the trees behind the house. "What a beautiful place. We felt so special and welcome. The grounds are impressive and clean. Each day the pool area gets cleaned . We had ladies fix our meal 2x and the prices were very reasonable. There is someone on the grounds who would help us with anything. Everything we did was close by."

"We stayed here from 5/17/24 - 5/22/24. We were 8 adults total. The house is very nice. It was very warm when we first arrived. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We found out quickly if you open the bedroom doors it helps to cool the rest of the house. The house was well equipped with kitchen items and we were able to cook a few meals. "We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."
