"My wife and I are birders and the lodge offered some great opportunities photographing them. There were many hummingbird feeders with plenty of birds around at all times. There are several good trails we walked early in the morning and were pleased to see many toucans. The cabin was clean and the AC cooled it in short time. "I stayed at this lodge for 2 days in September. I found the staff professional and kind. The restaurant was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge is small and the atmosphere intimate and I feel that the staff worked diligently to achieve their reputation for eco responsibility. I wish I had more time there. If I have a chance to return I will probably splurge on a cabin."
