Such a peaceful place to relax and read a book, or fuel your adventurous side and go for a kayak or a hike to the top of a lookout. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path, this is it. The owners Sarah and Michael are also some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and will make you feel at home and provide excellent tips for around the area."

"Wonderful to stay here, definitely appreciated the bath after a full day driving. Decor might be a little dated for some, but certainly not run down, and fits right in with the heritage listing of the frontage. Lovely and spacious unlike some other one bed places you can stay at too "

"They were very accommodating allowing us to check in early at 10:00am, instead of 2:00pm without hesitation or additional costs. Great value , comfortable, private and highly recommended to try if you are ever in town the area. Did I mention there is a great pub directly opposite with a fantastic menu , regular live music and friendly atmosphere. "

"So much to love at Bells. Every little detail has been meticulously planned. Such a great welcome, a great meal and great accommodation. Despite winter we walked the entire property and the rooms and restaurant were so inviting and warm. Definitely a summer and winter stay option. "

"The hotel was very reasonably priced through Expedia , reception were very obliging , provided me with a microwave when I asked to have something heated . Overall a very good experience . Property is under renovation at the moment hence the very reasonable price I’m assuming . "

"Highly recommend the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga Zoo. We loved everything about it! We had a sanctuary view room and enjoyed watching the koala outside our room balcony. The service and tours were great. Dinner at Me-Gal was excellent, and drinks from the bay in the lobby lounge were good too."

"This was an absolute amazing and unique experience. There was not a minute spared, we always had something to do, the food was also very good and we loved that we woke up to lions roaring in the morning :)"

"We loved the restaurant , free buffet brekkie was great . Steak and salmon for dinner were both great . Staff were absolutely lovely . Only 800m to train into city.
Killara is a little dated in some areas , but the staff and food made the couple of little issues we had seem insignificant. Would stay there again "

"Extremely generous with space. Pay a little more for the bigger well appointed room. Very comfortable. Everything is in new condition. Lovely views from higher levels. There is nowhere in the area which comes close to what this hotel offers. Staff are terrific. Internet fantastic. Close to metro 1 station. Suitable for seniors for metro and hotel. I am on walking stick and easily managed from CBD to hotel. Foyer/Lobby area is outstanding. Ideal for work or play. Very functional with work desks....
